Have a 2008 tundra and its a pain in the ass driving in the winter as the rear tires do a one wheel peel if theres even a little snow in 2wd and the auto lsd is annoying to use all the time. Looking to swap the rear diff, anyone know what model fits and where to order one? I live in canada so a canadian vendor or site would be preferable. Thanks everyone.

ARB if you want to run Air also and control when it comes on and off other wise a Auburn LSD if you want it just to do it thing always. depending on mileage on your Tundra (if more than 50k miles /84k KM) would recommend a install kit with new bearings since the work is being done.
unfortunately I could only source one Canadian site which contains a ARB Air locker.

1ST NOTE the link to lockers or LSDs are for a 10.5 Toyota Rear with 36 spline shafts found in Tundra's with the 5.7L not 100% sure if other Tundra's with different engines have smaller rear axels.
2nd NOTE the ARB Air locker will also need a air compressor and the related parts.

Arb in the snow is a no go, unless he's bombing snow drifts offroad all the time. I don't like the auburn bc it's clutch operated and non rebuild able so it's a wear item and will eventually have you back at right tire fire. I would stick with nitro lsd or powertrax as both of those are gear driven and won't wear out like the clutch packs of the auburns

    Too many, but not enough....
I will be getting a powertrax installed soon. I like the gear driven idea for longevity and the fact that you dont need to push a button to activate like on a locker, it is just controlled by your foot so its there when you need it on highways or unexpected moments when you may not have time to press a button first.
