Thanks - Still hate this plastic steering wheel. I was holding off installing it until I sourced a leather tacoma one but I got impatient.

For those of you running the Rago dash mount, and recommending the ICS backer plate, has anyone tried to fabricate one yourself? I can see using some flat stock for at least 2 strips (front to back) instead of buying the plate, but for $25 at ICS, it's probably not the headache of your own fab work.

I got parts piling up, need an install day (or a couple of evenings) once the kids go to sleep.

    ESP crewmax storage tray
    front bumper light bar brackets
MESO interior lights arriving today, Cali Raised ditch brackets arriving later in the week.

Wow, I love your shift knob and boot. That looks fantastic! Where did you get those items from? Best looking shift knob setup I've seen on a gen 2-2.5 Tundra.

    Might be from this thread.

It's a Tacoma TRD Pro knob

You can also put a LED light in it. Buy a DIY kit or buy one already done

I used plastic dip on mine, has held up pretty good. Did it about a year ago.

Ordered both of the MESO lights. Hopefully they aren't ridiculously bright and hopefully they "remember" the last color setting used.

They stay on the last color setting when turning on and stay that color until manually switched.

Hummm, I was thinking of keeping it in one of the swing boxes in the bed, which has a cover. Still could get hot though.

The batteries in them swell in the heat. They can, and have, caused fires. The lithium-ion batteries generate power by internal chemicals/gassing actions.

How are they in the cold? Can they be left in a car during Wisconsin winters?

I'm not sure about the cold. It would most likely be in the user's manual. I had to leave mine on the side of the road a few weeks ago because it swelled when I was trying to use it.

I've had a NOCO for about 3 years in my console, I just check the charge everyone once in a while and bring it in the house to top it off. I haven't had to actually use it yet though. I might think about taking it out in the summer now.

*gulp* I've got one in each vehicle. I live in Phoenix. I haven't about it from anyone in my circles, but doesn't mean it can't happen.

My charger in my limited charges my samsung through an otterbox case. Galaxy S10+. Doubt it is rapid charge due to amp draw, but it works none the less.
