My TRD SR5 model doesn’t have that angle. All I have is the regular backup camera with different features and a wide angle mode.

I have the TRD Off-road SR5, the mid range model. I believe the limited starts the fancy boss man cameras.

So is my TRD SR5…regular backup camera with wide angle mode.

I think that hitch camera option is available with one of the packages (that mine wasn’t optioned out for) or possibly standard on the Limited and up…don’t know for sure.

I'm hoping all the buttons are backlit in the platinum. They are in my F150 and love that it is.

The lighting leaves a lot to be desired…having no center interior dome lights sucks (no pano roof here) so at best the interior lights would be considered map/seating area lighting as they are positioned and shine directly onto your lap area when sitting.

I haven’t gone into the bed yet either but I should
Be able to make do with the one (manual) bedstep on the left hand side of the truck

…as for the tech I have experienced better but it’s not the worse either. I am figuring it out as I go during the last 4 days (caveat -I haven’t read the manual as yet)

I put my deposit Nov 6th. the last time I followed up in late Dec, this is what they said: Your order is in the system and waiting for Toyota assign you the vehicle. I will update you when it's become available.

    Thank you and Happy Holidays!

Love the look (and utility) of the crewmax with the 6.5’ bed but the 5.5 will be a tight fit in my garage. Just can’t leave $60k parked in the driveway.

This is similar to what I'm wanting. Crewmax 6.5 bed. Right now I'm only seeing 5.5 beds available around here. And coming in.

I wonder if there will be brighter replacement aftermarket map lights to replace the stock ones. I know it isn't ideal, but if I could eventually brighten the cab up for $40-$50 bucks at least there would be a fix.

Test drove this SR5 5.5 CM TRD Sport Premium, with Advanced Technology package and Premium Audio package. It had everything we needed. But the interior lighting was the issue that made us go for the higher trim. Put a deposit on a 1794 in windchill pearl/saddle brown. ETA mid-February.

I don't think a brighter bulb will fix it. The current ones are like a edc flashlight with a focused beam.

So the higher trims have better interior lighting? Seems like a big jump in price just for lights.

Can anyone with a 4wd confirm the front inner fenders are some type of material others than plastic or metal? Like underhood barrier.

Interesting, I may have to add some under dash lights near the feet then.

    1. Have no issues with the lighting. I can see the inside of the truck fine in the dark. Doublecab
    2. I don’t have the bed step and don't need it. I have Never had any issue getting into the bed of a truck and have never used a bumper or step to do so.
    3. The infotainment system is awesome. Very easy to use once you get some time to play with it. You start the truck. A warning about driving pops up you click ok and your profile loads and your good to go. Whatever you were listening to last time auto plays.

The lighting for the interior is horrible. That is one of my complaints. I had to pull the visor down and open the mirror to get better lighting in there abs even after that it sucks.

Coming from the wrangler world, lighting always poor there (partially due to removable tops, and influenced in the Tundra by the optional glass ceiling.). But as discovered with Jeep’s, lighting is a very easy and cheap mod. I am loving the truck.

My truck is getting built on the 10th of this month, hoping to have it early February

I don’t know that you can plan based on the dates for prior deliveries. Mine was built 1/3, and they’re telling me early to mid February. The QC hold has held up a lot of deliveries.

    My build date is 1/27.
This morning at the dealership, I saw my sales person’s pc screen and it said 44 days (puts it here on 2/21).
I am having the console safe added at the port - don’t know if that adds a day or so.

I know a guy bought from my dealer. His build date was in November and it got held in QC. Not getting here till Feb. A couple that were built after already hit the lot. Mine might be here before his at this rate

Thanks guys. I'm sure we're all pretty eager to get our hands on our trucks. I drove one spec'd the same as what I got but a different color. If you haven't driven them yet, they're awesome.

Picked up on Thursday. Totally worth the couple delays, it was originally supposed to be delivered 12-24.

The real question is who is going to be the first person to post up with that factory lift?!

Looks great, glad to see those predator steps on there for reference, they look pretty decent. I have my Tundra coming early March and factory ordered the steps and hard tonneau…can’t wait.
