I really didn't like the stock TRD shifter, too vanilla. I saw another member's post with his blue themed shifter and thought I needed the same, but in red. It arrived today and the install was easy peasy. I'm liking it.

I used 3M headlight restore to great success on my 06 after I did basically what you just did. Since the UV coating is now buffed off, it'll go yellow a lot quicker - about three times a year. That 3M on a shop rag put it back to perfect in 15 seconds, and the $10 bottle should last you a few years.

The true way to correct the lenses is to wet sand and clearcoat. It will last alot longer.

I guess I’m the only one around here who actually likes the OEM shifter…

 

I love mine, but it's leather and (fake) walnut burl.

 

Anyone have any ideas for getting rid of the chrome on these running boards? These came from the factory, and I actually really like them. They are low profile and tucked up nice and close to the truck, and they’re big and slip resistant. Plus they have metal brackets instead of cheap plastic ones. I’d like to avoid paying for new ones since I already have ones I like, but I kinda wish they weren’t chrome. Do you think that bed liner in a can would adhere to the chrome?

 

I guess I didn't know about MacGuire's back then. They have a clear coat product that says it'll keep them clear for a year.

I've been lazy, but I have it in mind to get some clear vinyl for my headlights. At worst it could keep a bunch of tiny scratches from ruining the UV protection.
