Going to start all the Marvel (MCU) Movies in Cinematic order. - No Hulk or Spiderman, not on D+. Stupid Sony

That should take me a good while.

Cobra Kai (Season 3, Episodes 1-3)

 

Watched the first couple episodes of Schit's Creek the other night. Haven't decided if we're going to watch more or not.

 

I felt the same when I started it. It got better, my lady liked it more than I did.

 

Way too many movies for me to list out but series we have exhausted and loved:

• In the Dark
• Manifest
• Cobra Kai

 

Tried to watch The Protege on Netflix last night. No dice. There's no hard coded subs for the foreign language stuff. It's closed caption subs which are bullshit or nothing. Ended up watching Tremors: Bloodlines again. Love the Tremors movies.

Guardians 1 is hands down my favorite. I won't say it's the best, but it's one of my most watched Marvel films by far. That and the first 2 Captain Americas.

Whoah! A man after my own heart!

I do the same thing. I assembled a home theater around my desk after I started telecommuting full time about 10 years ago. I can "listen" to movies (and look up every so often) just the same as listening to music.It makes the day go by faster. But I do have to stick with my favorites and stuff I've already seen, otherwise I'll get distracted.

It has been a 10 year journey and a lot of trial and error, but I now have a 4k UHD setup with 5.4.2 Atmos setup around my desk lol



We saw Eternals in the theater. Took my son, he really wanted to go, otherwise I likely would have waited for Disney+.

Yeah, I have to do the same thing, only or usually watch stuff I've already seen. Anything new will make me worthless for productivity and get behind.

 

It really has been a great solution to re-watch my favorites, otherwise it gets difficult to revisit stuff with so much content out there, especially with streaming services having so much available. So I save the new shows/episodes and movies to watch with the wife.

But I ain't gonna lie, I did pick up a gaming laptop and additional monitor that I setup on the coffee table for when the wife wants to watch her shows and wants me to hang out with her in the living room. Win-win as they say lol

 

That's too funny. I do the same stuff with my lady on new shows.

I play my video games in our bedroom TV. Would like to have it in my office but already have a lot of stuff in here, my desk, my guitar stuff and my lady has her craft table and cabinets. Would be too cluttered for me if I had it all in here. She does some crafting stuff in the bedroom when I play video games though. She actually asked me the past few nights if I wanted to play so she could craft

 

What, you play guitar, too? I don't suppose you also have a white Tundra as well? lol

See, there it is. You make the effort to make it work with your other half, and before you know it they shoo you away so you can go play lol. Really though, I learned early on and made an effort to include my wife in everything since the beginning of our marriage. It really has made life easier. Even when she doesn't agree on something, she knows where my heart is because I talk it over with her, which helps her to at least respect most of my decisions.

Sorry to hear that. It's tough for sure, and I don't want to make it sound like it's all bliss just because I made an effort. It still goes both ways. I would hate to be in a relationship if the other person didn't give back, or both sides don't have the same goals. But good to hear though the grass is greener now.

Anyway... next up:

I'm a big fan of Doctor Strange and the Antman films. I think they're way better than what the Marvel fan community give them credit for.
