I was off since way back on Friday 12/31 at 16:25EST. Coming in this morning was a real bitch.
And it didn't take me 22 years to figure out how much I don't like my particular situation. (I do like the field tho.)

Yeah, it really does. I didn't get that performance review I was promised a few weeks ago, but I did notice I finally got a raise (if you'll even call it that) which I feel extremely insulted by. Way to boost engagement!

Ha! My situation has only sucked the past 2-3 years, too many changes and not enough mgmt foresight to get in front of the ball.

n the upside, my employer shuts down the day of Christmas eve, doesn't re-open until NBD after new years day. I took some xtra days off leading up to that throughout December. Seems 1/2 of my team is still off, there's almost nothing coming in work-wise.

Wish it was the first time I'd been reading/hearing the same ...

It was brought to my attention that my sister is losing her hair. She had the BIG C, and it fucked her up. She was almost put on a ventilator which as many of you know usually starts the count down... it was bad.

Anyways, she attributes her hair falling out to be a side effect of the BIG C, and I'm not sure what I'd do without my "luscious locks of love"

Do you normally smile? Or are you smiling for the camera?

First picture is a smile for the camera without showing my braces...

Second picture is also the same smile just not looking directly at the camera.

Third picture is, well I don't know what it is but it isn't a smile.

Typically I have a mild case of RBF. @FirstGenVol and @jpink saw a little bit more of my faces than I think they bargained for. Lol

Wasn't there something bad about the 3.4L engine for the first year of production of the Tacoma? I always see it blacked out under consumer reports for 95 and I believe 96.

On our way back from the mountains (riding shotgun). I couldn't miss an opportunity to go snow-wheeling. That's probably the deepest snow I've driven in. The KO2's do great in snow. I think it was almost a foot deep in places and it was a wet heavy snow so lots of trees were down. No telling how many pin strips I added today. We did 10 miles off pavement. I was behind another first gen on the way up the Skyway but thankfully his was white so we were both slow.

Drained my pipes and stocked up, tried to tell the neighborhood, but i had to supply people with potable water. And fix the pipes i could, but supplies ran out within the first day.

was gifted a couple bottles of warm wine for my efforts.

Aligned it, (well actually it was all good) and drove it to the farm. Going to start getting materials ready for a flat bed. Drives perfectly fine at 60mph. Got a dash rattle though

Micah pulled his bed and found it was shot, so he made a flatbed, and then a pop-up.

Yeah, having the rona definitely wasn't fun. I got a fever on the night of 12/22 that lasted about a week. It wasn't bad, just gave me the shivers. Then when I tested positive on the 29th, I had to quarantine till new years. After testing pos, that's when the sinus shit started. Taste and smell are weird, still there, but my sinuses feel dry and it hurts to breathe through my nose. Even today it still feels that way. And I'm still kinda weak and foggy upstairs.

While I was dealing with this my gf came down with strep AND the flu the day after I tested pos. Somebody poisoned the watering hole or something...

Never heard of it. I haven't taken anything but ibuprofen, and that was only when the fever was active. I haven't ate much either. Pretty sure I've lost weight. My moobs are getting smaller.

We don't have any snow at all. Temps in the low 20s, but no snow.

Zinc, vitamin C, and vitamin E are good for immune system.
Vitamin B will make you feel better. Like more energy and more vibrant. I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't take them irregularly. :D

    Yup ^^

I'd reco looking for a B-complex specifically, one with a high variety of B vitamins, even if you're just taking for this short period. Emergen-C actually has zinc, C, and b vitamins and if you hate taking pills, it's a good TEMPORARY solution. Emergen-C doesn't have a significant amount of zinc, adding 20-30mg/day is a good idea. Just know daily zinc over time can cause other vitamin/mineral deficiencies. Found that out the hard way in my 20s. Or just duke your way through the remainder.

I need to get started back up again on vitamins for my aging ass.
