prob last update here on the fuji. other posts will be in clublexus. with lexus going towards full EV for the next halo car (ie, LFA previously) it will be awhile for me to decide to sell. so with that, i'm now waiting for the 22 tundra hybrid.

hit 10,000 fun car miles in a year. and now i can say i tracked it too. drove it 1,500 miles from norcal to arizona for lexus F day. about 75-100 F cars (all v8's and one v10!) sponsored by lexus and apex motor club in maricopa. the track time was free for lead-follow sessions and we got to do hot laps with lexus ambassadors scott pruett and townsend bell in their track editions (basically same car as mine). oh and a clip from scott runnin an LFA on track (turn up the sound)! enjoy.

Enjoy the heck out of it. I've had a GS F since new in 2017, and my only regret is that I don't drive enough. It's a fourth wheel now in the garage.

12,000 miles now and ive made the decision (at least for now :)) that i will keep this one long term. toyota motor isn't making anymore high revving naturally aspirated v8's, i can't justify an LFA or pay the insurance and maintenance (lol) and the LFA 2 will likely be a hybrid and also out of reach budget wise.

now that decision is made, i'll do more mods.
    - oem carbon fiber mirror caps from the 2022 IS500 Sport Performance. ties together carbon fiber flow on the side of the vehicle nicely.
    - ordered ohlins road & track coilovers and rear camber arms for fathers day. can't wait.

lower the car about 3/4 to an inch in the front. maybe 1/2 inch rear.

rented some lift time at a diy place. interesting business setup. they provide everything, tools, heat gun, etc etc and you can't even bring your own rags. lol. but i got the car up on the lift, detailed the undercarriage and installed some sliplo in prep for the ohlins suspension going in now. i dropped the car off this morning. i'm gonna let the suspension pro's handle this job. and was happy to see that after 13k miles and 1.5 years, under my front lip was still a virgin :p hopefully the sliplo will help keep it that way.

yeah, it's all opinion. most ive spoken with see both the rcf and lc as grand tourers (gt's) versus a sports car like the new gen supra. so different classes of cars. we're just too heavy, not as tunable and target luxury sport then pure sport. i personally like luxury sport as i get older.

Yes technically the LC is the SC successor, same car the Supra was derived from with shorter wheel base, but everything crosses over.

a little before and after installing ohlins coilovers, figs rear camber arms, icode titanium strut bar and lowering the car. stance and ride quality is on point and handles much better now over stock suspension. full access to adjusters to easily soften or stiffen the ride based on street, spirited or track driving. top shelf products.

just turned 20,000 miles on this glorious, high revving, naturally aspirated lexus v8. 3.5 yrs later still hammering it through the mountains and playing with some exotics along the way, like this ferrari. turn up the sound! have a good weekend.

Beautiful car. I haven't driven the RC-F, but have had the pleasure of taking an IS500 out for a rip when I had the wifes GX460 in for service. That engine is absolutely spectacular and the RC and IS500 definitely deserve way more respect!!!
