Not sure how I'd feel about olives. I didn't mind them when I was younger, but as I've gotten older I'm liking them less.

Yeah, I'm thinking about ordering the last gen TM Hoody that Tom offered. I had on my "National Geographic" hoody because it's the softest and warmest one I have. Plus, it's big enough so it doesn't restrict my movement. Bowel or otherwise.

We agree on olives.
I’ve learned as pallets change the cheap green olives lose their good.
You have to move on to the more expensive ones as you age.
Olives are weird like that.
Just like an older Italian woman… if you don’t have money, you no tasteaaa too good.

 

And here I've just been craving olives all the time lately.... did homemade pizzas on new years eve and I was the only one using the olives to I just sat and ate the remaining ones out of the can with a folk.

The wife definitely gave me an eye roll for that

 

Love mushrooms if they are cooked. Olives less so, but definitely only if cooked.

 

I have a feeling if things went WAY south, I could grill some human. And I'm sure the wife could make a fire gumbo. All out of their respective parts that would fit for each meal. I wouldn't want a glute in my gumbo, but I'm sure I could do something similar to a rump roast

 

Never liked the green ones. Hell, olives have only ever been an ingredient for some clam chowders or a topping on pizzas. That's it.

 

Based on her posts, we might have to keep @SnowyTundra and banish @Dr Doobie to the hen house.

Cooking people smell like pork on a grill. There is the issue that our bodies have digesting it though. It's not a long term solution.

 

I did yesterday for the first time. Not a huge green olive guy unless it’s in a martini, I ate it but wouldn’t again.

Agreed. I've never done it for the long term. And I have an iron stomach and can digest a steel ball. No worries on that part
