It’s official the eye roll is universal

 

I get less of an “eye roll” and more of an evil squint that sends shivers down my spine. Next thing I know, I’m at Hobby Lobby helping her pick through plastic flowers.

 

I had to think about this too, and came up with a handy list of options. I hope they benefit you.
Method 1:
Lie. Materials needed include wit and cunning exceeding that of your spouse. If supplies are low or inadequate, abandon this method.
Method 2:
Argue comparative value. Materials needed include her recently acquired goods and services for comparison such as shoes, dining out (especially when with her friends), tattoos, or children. Alternately, a gap in your purchases of regularly expected goods and services may be of useful substitute. These purchases may include items such as truck modifications, liquor, or (depending on your specific circumstances) hookers and blow.
Method 3:
Elude detection. Materials needed include a surreptitious PO box, frequent trips 'to the store for cigs', and gaslighting skills.
Method 4:
Slip out the back, Jack. Make a new plan, Stan... You know the drill. Materials needed include a divorce lawyer, and revocation of your ownership of half your shit.
Method 5:
Put up with the eye roll every time.

 

Method 1: is always the first line of defense and sometimes works depending on mood or time of the month.
Method 2: is a good second try if I can tell that Method 1 isn't going to work.
Method 3: is a good thought. I do run out and about alot for said errands and would make an easy second stop.
Method 4: No go on this one. She is a hottie and it's cheaper to keep her.
Method 5: Will likely be the go to and end up making it up to her. At least I tried.

 

I use the 3 Step Confrontation Resolution Method*:

1. Admit nothing.

2. Deny everything.

3. File counter accusations.



*Success rates when using this method during confrontations with wives or harem members is not guaranteed. In the event the debate begins turning against you, the best course of action is to say "Yes, dear". The fact that you've suddenly agreed with her is confusing and usually results her saying something along the lines of "Ok then" before she walks away.. While this appears that the issue is closed and you've just gotten away with whatever it was, you haven't. She has still won. She still remembers. Always.

 

Mrs. Punishment doesn't understand the meaning of "ok" or "yes, dear" and will continue trying to argue in a convincing manner as if you had said "no". Or maybe she just likes to talk.

 

And then spoon feeds you tofurkey.

 

In which case the best action is to simply shut up, accept your verbal lashing and buy her some flowers or chocolates or something. I don't recommend tuning her out and just going "uh huh", "mmhmm" and "ok". I did that once.

 

Don’t know if I’ve learned anything other than continue the course and buy more stuff this morning.

I woke up this morning and it was 24 outside. When I saw the temperature, my nards retracted so far into my chest that I had heart palpitations. Apparently they remembered it's workout day on the screened in side porch.

In addition to this, the neighbor is getting her yard mowed right now and it's gonna smell like freaking dog shit and onions. Should be a pleasant workout.

I used to get the eye roll until my wife saw first hand what Crew meant. Now she asks how you guys are doing.

I've been trying to psyche myself up to go running for the last hour. Its a little warmer up here (like 30s) but I'm still not excited..

i went runnin in our sub the other day. our neighbor took her 4 kids to ride around the block (about 1.25 miles). I ran across them about half way through the run. when we saw then the following day for a new years eve get together, she told me her daughter asked why i was running. she told me, "it's pretty obvious we're a family of non runners huh?"
