Check the build link in my signature.
That’s pretty standard/common for how Holiday and OT work for non-union.

In theory, if you worked Christmas, you’re getting DT because you are getting paid the regular hours plus the holiday pay.

Except I work 12 hours and holiday pay is only 8 hours. So double time for 8 hours the other 4 are normal. However, if any of the worked hours are over 40 it does go time and a half for OT. Working 12s my schedule has some built in OT. The only thing that really hinders it is that the OT clock resets 12:01 AM Sunday morning and my weeks are Wednesday through Tuesday.

What is up all? So far for the first day of 2022:

Cold, wet, and windy when I had an outside project I wanted to do.
Got a splinter bringing in firewood.
Scratched my arm and it refused to stop bleeding for 20 minutes.
    Had to unplug a toilet.

Could have been worse. I've decided to just keep drinking the rest of the weekend.

@TaquitoBandito Thank you for the avatar and the welcome. I’m going to maybe need the file pm’d to me to get it small enough to fit right if you would please..

I just kinda came in and bombed the place, but y’all are awesome. Took me right in, even though I drive the Tundra, but prefer a good Cummins any day if the week. :)

It’s cold here, the Dr is freezing his Balls off, I have other things to freeze off

-40 windchill, I had to bundle the horses, and now going to work with @Dr Doobie

    Have a great day!

You look cold! 24F! I’ll take some of that!
It’s actually so cold out with this wind, I am going to go put a second layer of blankets on the four horses.
That wind just sucks the heat right away from the bones.

Stayed in the 20’s all day. I tried several times to get something going in the shop but couldn’t motivate. I guess I’m mostly not drinking this year in support of my son who feels he needs to quit. Might help me lose weight, which is good. Happy new year all y’all sicko’s!

Sorry for the late reply - I was out wrapping up a freakin' banana tree. 81 degrees out and we are supposed to be below freezing by the morning...

You have a Freudian way with words, you think any of these guys would deny letting you in the club?

PM is incoming. You all cover your tender bits up there, I can't imagine that frostbite would be any fun in those areas.

First day of 2022 was me building a banana tree saver. I pretty much built a cage out of hardware cloth, bungie corded the leaves together, put mulch on the bottom, filled it up with seeding straw, wrapped the cage and leaves with a frost blanket, and then put another frost blanket thing over the leaves. I'm pretty sure when the cold front comes in, it's gonna knock the fucker over. I tried though. :)

Now that I'm looking at the pics, it kinda looks like a giant fetus Pez dispenser.
