No, I removed the shifter so I could pull the engine with the transmission and then seperate outside the truck. This truck is unstable now. I don't like being under it.

I wanted to get the rear end off and then pull the diff. I broke my big hammer and the head hit my knee. Talk about weak knees lol. Anyways the rear end is rust-i-welded to the leaf springs. I can't cut the leaf springs because that's what's holding the truck up off the ground. When I get done pulling the front end apart I will see about cutting the axle in half before the leaf springs....

Anyways, hope you fuckers got some pop corn

I was expecting some daul hook chains welded to the main hook to prevent theft, but in lieu of not having anything other than this ratchet straps will have to do.

Use that A frame to hold up the rear of the truck and cut the u bolts. Cutting axles will not be fun.

Ubolts already cut. Using the A-frame on the rear end broke the chain. That was um violent... no body got hurt.

Found the other a-frame and tried pulling the engine. No love. Broke all my ratchet straps. I'm feeling pretty lousy right now. Almost had it out one time, and then it slid right back where it was living. Lil bro got his finger cut up pretty good. No pics. I bandaged him up as best I could. We are calling it a day all defeated like.

I did get an ashtray for @daveeasa and one other item. Nothing available here for @TRDGen

I'd bet if I had a proper lift I could have gotten it. Or it I just cut the fuckin firewall. Spilled milk and now less problems. Gah! Was yhr electric j-shift anyways so I couldn't have used it I think. Tired...

    Feelin like a repeat offender...

Home now. My knee looks like shit where my 2lb brass hammer hit it.

Some of the haul today. Cv, trim thing for Dave, shift boot, j-shift stick with charcoal knob, v6 transmission control relay from pass kick panel, a fuck load of interior screws/bolts, 4wd v6 frame cross member
    20211231_132529.jpg

Here is everything I paid for.
    20211231_132944.jpg

I think that is the complete list. @FirstGenVol, anytime I upload a picture of crackie like this, it takes me a second to process that this is my truck, and not yours.

Solely based on color of the truck. Weird how the mind works. My brain still reverts back to when I used to lurk in here, at a lot of the build threads, and the usual daily threads lol

Part number for the j-shift carpet in charcoal. Access cab.

Warm LEDs came in today. They are pretty nice. A glass bulb actually. Put the green gel on them like so:
    IMG_8232.jpg
Warm LED on the left (2700k), Cool LED in the middle (6000K).
    IMG_8231.jpg
It's the small things in life that make me happy. First these LEDs are only about 0.6 watts and are just a little bit brighter vs. the OEM halogen. It's not a perfect match, but it is as good as I am going to get it, I think. So I would recommend my final selections here.IMG_8234.jpg
Looks much closer and about the same brightness (so everything dims about the same).IMG_8236.jpg
Check that project off the list.

Wow, just the opposite. I find trees annoying. Love the desert. There's a raw beauty to it, a strength to anything that lives in the desert.
and the colors of the desert. Glorious if you can just settle, calm yourself & see it all.

Yours is awesome. I’m clearly not the purist - I looked at mine and I must have ditched the green covers and put whatever LED I had.
