A stocking stuffer from my daughter (~$15 on big gurl). I really like the red (and of course the LED's) but them being black on the grey Limited bumper makes a mess of things. At some point I'll mask them off and paint them up to match the Phantom Grey.

These were a great upgrade when I had my stock bumper.

Here are the warm white LEDs I ordered to be gel'd green. They arrive today.

I think I found another creak/noise to hunt down. It's coming from my passenger airbag cover. Is there any way to take that off and somehow investigate? It creaks when I push down on it. Thinking about something like the felt tape or something to make it stop. Any ideas?

    I'll post a video.

I thought the same thing but it's actually the dash rubbing the windshield. Did you see the posts about using backer rod to fix it? It worked for a lot of us.

I’ve done the backer rod. It helped some, but there is still this other creak/vibration going on.

10-4. When I was investigating the noise in my truck I removed the stereo which creates a big space you can look in and ivestigate. There were other areas in there that I found were rubbing and could possibly make noise. I covered some of those with little strips of noico I had left over. You could try that.

I wasn't ready for that. I spit crackers all over my desk.

Intimidating those vital fluids to stay put or it'll be intimidating a tow truck from behind. The ol' can't open the hood mod.

Red is brake light? Or always on as tail?

    Photo on your truck maybe?

I got to see these front bumpers in person when I picked up my rear bumper. They are nice. They are big. I don’t think I want this much change for my own truck. But I am considering it.

Only complaint I have is the lights are so bright it washes out the backup camera since mine is mounted to the plate.

Eh it's an issue that's not really an issue. The truck gets driven rarely and even more rarely driven in the dark.

Other than the black not matching my bumper, which I'll fix, I like them. I think the red on the lights looks proper -

My rear camera is on my tailgate handle so no issues there...

I love the look, they ride very nice, and they're not loud.
    So far, I'm super stoked.

Looks nice. I might try. Black would work better for me than the stock grey. I might have a brand new set to send to a friend.

I mentioned this already to Luis, but it may have been on IG and not here.
Sprewells only come in 5-lug. Adapting 6x5.5 to 5x120.6x would be a little messy. Plus for the weight penalty of spinners, I may as well have just gone to 35s. :D

But you're right. Spinners would have been extra baller.

Just pulled up inventory for the junkyard. The black truck is gone. The maroon truck is still there, and the silver truck (the one I need) says it's till there.

    I'm a-scared! Lol

Headlight finale. I think I am officially done with this project. Putting the final bill of materials here for posterity, since I've gone back and forth and switched out bulbs a dozen times in this thread, I think.

    Final build:

Headlight retrofits from TEQ Customs. I elected for the BX Built LEDs and the Apollo 2.0 shrouds. I did not add any halos or other options as I was going for a clean OEM look. I stayed with the chrome bowls.

The small 194 LED is a matching 6000k LED. I've used these JDM Astar 194 LEDs throughout the interior as well and they have held up well.

For turn signal lights, I used these Auxito 3157s in Amber Yellow. The color is a very deep orange and they are bright without scattering any light.

Fog lights are Baja Designs Squadron SAE in yellow. They are mounted in a custom printed baffle I made and bolted to a fog light blank with a hole drilled in the back.

Final from the front. Notice how the small white light matches the white of the BX Built LEDs as well (which was a big thing for me).
    IMG_8201.jpg
Beam pattern with everything on. The passenger side fog is a bit wonky, but there is slop in the fog blank (non-oem) and not a ton of adjustability in the way I've printed out the baffle. It would be ideal if I could rotate the housing a bit, but I really can't. Maybe there will be a v2 in the future.

I know I usually come across as a dick, but I’m genuinely curious as to why I see people running amber fogs? Is there some benefit that I am not aware of?
