I've been seeing some questions re what stock wheels and tires are coming with the trucks up here in Canada, so I dug into some of the photos I took at some dealers to hopefully shed some light on this. I still can't get a clear photo of the 1794 tires because the video was shot in 360p (its 2021/22...who does that) but I'll work on that tomorrow.

    Hope this helps:

    Base SR5
    Tires: Yokohama Geolandar X-CV P265/70R18

    SR5 TRD Offroad
    Tires: Michelin LTX Trail P265/70R18

    Limited
    Tires: Yokohama Geolandar X-CV P265/70R18

    Limited TRD Off-Road
    Tires: ?? P265/70R18

    Platinum
    Tires: ?? P265/60R20

    1974
    Tires: ?? P265/60R20

And now for some pics of the wheels:

Thanks for the info ! I was definitely one of the people wondering about the tire packages here in Canada since i had to buy my truck without ever seeing it.

Are you certain of the tires for the Limited W/ TRD Off road package ? The spec sheet i have for my Limited TRD OR package shows that the Limited comes stock with the " 20 inch alloy wheels " but adding the TRD OR package changes the tires to " 18 inch alloy wheels "

You’re probably right and makes sense. I pulled specs from the website for those as I haven’t seen them yet, so I may have clicked the wrong trim. Changed.

The Toyota.ca website seems to show the Limited with a chrome rim and not the two-tone pictured above in this thread. Not sure if the picture on the builder website is accurate or not.

The limited I personally took a photo of had black/aluminum wheels. Not sure if maybe the client changed them but that’s what was on the truck.

the colours on the website seem to be off. When you look at the platinum the wheels look aluminum coloured but everywhere it shows that they have black/dark grey wheels

    To clarify...

    Chrome 20" = Limited

Two tone 18" = TRD Offroad

Yes the colours are not as accurate as they should be. Also check out the fender trim on the pic I posted. It should be a medium grey but looks flat black.

I would trust your pics taken in real life at the dealership.

I placed an order for a SR5 TRD Sport > i was under the impression that the wheels are 20" black with the red TRD in the middle. Mine is Magnetic grey - so hope what i think is coming is coming? 3 to 4 month wait!

    I have ordered the same
And order guide specifies 20” TRD wheels with Sport.. When asked the Dealer said they would be All-weather rated not All season .
I asked that as some of our highways require That designation in the winter .Which by the looks of things will be over before my truck even gets a delivery date

I have seen the two tone on the Limited nonTRD trucks. The web site build is not accurate. Which is bs. They have started rolling in now in Van.

Every stock tire sucks and will never be good for Canadian seasons on any trim, buy new tires minimum.

I really don't get why the TRD OR gets Falkens in the US and we don't. I'll probably being running the Michelins for the fall, then swapping out to studded Nokian Hakkapellita for winer. Sell the Michelins, new wheels and tires next spring.

NAFTA probably comes into play here with the tires...Faulkins look way better IMO!

I unloaded my Michelin's for $800, gave someone a good deal on them [from a tire shop they were $1400]. The shoes I got put on [Wrangler Duratracs 295/65 18] were built into my lease so no out of pocket immediate expense for them.

Wait you mean to tell me Canadians are interested in trucks too? I thought all you all cared about were beers and donuts? I joke I joke I kid I kid. Growing up me and my younger brother must of watched “Strange Brew” a thousand times, just about every weekend and for the longest time we really had the wrong impression of Canada/Canadians like most uninformed youths. Then of course you mature and learn more about life. Many years later I had a neighbor who was Canadian and the absolute salt of the earth and would give you the shirt off his back literally! I am hoping in next few years to finally make a trip up there. I’m in Louisiana and during my time in the Army have traveled the world but never made it up there to see your beautiful country. Here is to hoping this comes soon enough….
