2021 TRD Pro in the MGM Master Race!
I picked up a lightly used '21 TRD PRO yesterday in the MGM master race. The guy bought it in June and decided it was too big for him. I'm luving it so far except for no sway bars and premium stereo sure doesn't seem premium; I'll have to play with the stereo a bit, just sounds tinny.

I've been looking a couple weeks and trying to decide between the '21 V8 or a new '22 V6, and while the new '22s have a great refresh, this will do for me. Heck, I only put 12,000 miles on the Tacoma in 6 years so, I won't even break this one in. I located some Pros but each had a different package, some with sway bars but not with skid plates, bed cover, step rails, spray bed liner, other stuff, etc., etc., so this was a bit of a compromise with the TRD skid plate and no sways. I thought they may not make too much of a difference until I took an off-ramp at 45mph. I've already ordered them for the front and back, along with a rubber Tundra bed mat.

Yes, I'm like a giddy school girl right now - this is what I've wanted for a while - heck, I even read the owner's manual last night. :)

Of course it's going to rain this week.

Trusty Tacoma held it's resale like a champ, almost like I drove it for 6 years for free!

Does anyone have any photos of an MGM Tundra with white letters out on the tires? I've always preferred the raised white letters, but I want to be sure they look decent on the MGM.

Can I ask what lift and tires you're running here? Like it. Not too tall but looks better than stock.

Thanks ! I have the Bilstein 6112's up front, set at the top setting 2.5, plus 2 shims which gets me to 3" total lift in the front. In the back I have the Bilstein 5160's plus shackles, so raised about an inch in the back. Tires are Cooper AT3s, 295/70/18. Also added a bumper shim up front which gets you about a 1/2 inch of extra clearance and removed the small front mud flaps.

Snapped a few quick pictures driving through the forest today. Loving the color matched B pillar. Looking forward to installing the Bilsteins to lift up the front end a bit.

Were you the one who found that there's just a black vinyl sticker covering the B pillars that can be removed?

I saw someone else on the forum who had done it, but yeah it’s just black vinyl. With a heat gun and a little patience, it peels right off.

I might have to do that. Then again, if I do, then I'll want colour matched door handles and different bumpers and... :spending:

Ha! I’m in the same boat here. I did the B pillars and color matched door handles and mirror caps all at the same time, and now those chrome bumpers and grill surround are glaring at me…

Picked up a set of the trail edition 18s that are charcoal colored. Been looking for a set of the blacked out version to swap out the 20s I have but these came up at a decent price as take offs so gave them a shot.

    I'm old school. Here's mine.

I wish somebody would help me with the grille. I want the Magnetic color matched grille and hood trim but don't know which exact parts to buy.

these are the parts I had to buy for my 19. Apparently they changed the way the emblem sits in the middle insert and that wasn’t a cost I anticipated.

Here’s the part number for the older style TRD Pro grille: 53100-0C260-B1

Bulge would be the same as @houstundra listed above.

Hopefully this bad boy will be in my driveway before long! Supposedly the power steering issue recall is closer to being resolved.
