Those look awesome. Must be a new type of Cooper tire I've never seen. I like. What size?

Dang, you should've gone with the 285/75r17, they'd be nearly a 34. I've considered that when I go to 17s. But I've also got a 1 inch body lift I could install and go straight to 35s of I'm buying wheels and tires anyways lol especially since I've got the 4.56s on order.

Speaking of which. So my neighbor helped me change my T3 alternator Sunday and today I found a nut on the driveway by my front bumper. Then I noticed some noises while accelerating. Sounds like a vacuum leak or a turbo simulator lol. Also the neighbor thought it sounded like it needed a timing belt. I thought the clicking was just the exhaust manifolds because PO said he did TB not long ago. So I think I need to figure out if that nut went to the alternator or the water pump (maybe PS pump? I don't recall) because we had to loosen it to clear the pulley. Also I checked codes today to see if it was ready for inspection after having battery removed for a while, since I been driving it the last few days. No CEL. But I have a p0420. I'm hoping the monitors aren't done setting and the code goes away before it triggers a CEL. I need to get the truck inspected this week so I can register it.

In other news I replaced the driver interior door handle assembly and the console latch.

@CodyP Not sure if it was mentioned, but I would also order a new OEM radiator cap. I did that when I swapped mine recently and I could tell a noticeable difference. Much tighter fit.

 your ole man is a hard ass. I love how you guys have hit so many deer at this point that it's not even a big deal anymore.

I still don't understand why you have so many more deer there than here. We do have deer strikes here but it's not nearly as big of an issue, even in the country. You need more deer hunter apparently.

I think the fog is why he turned them off. Super pleased with those tractor supply lights! Traveler brand! I need to update the light bar thread I started that nobody cared about lol

Honestly at this point, as long as the truck isn't totalled he doesn't care. He's still planning on fixing his nissan which means he'll have me do that...

I don't think you understand this part of KY. The deer are so used to traffic here. We have plenty of hunters, but all these deer live on private land where few hunters are.

I need some fucking Brute force fab activity is what I need! Maybe with the next check.

What options did you get with your low profile hoop? 4 square cut outs for light and a winch cut out? Skid row plates worked with the BFF?

Iirc with the v6 and the skid row skids, only 2 out of the 4 fit because they were made for the v8 frame. I remember someone having issues a few years back with a v6 and skid row skids fitment. Worth looking into. I believe that the front two skids fit, but the trans skid and possibly the transfer case skid didn't fit. Not sure though

    These 285/70s are actually 33.0”.
Considering how wide the wheels are and how they poke, I’d have to remove the flares to run any amount more tire.

    I did consider 34s and 35s. Strongly.
But I dialed it back because the 911 is my primary project. The truck is secondary and the daily. Needs to be as close to reasonable as I can.

Yeah the 285/75r17 is like a 33.8. I've got 295/75r16 and it's like a 33.4. I wish I had gone with 17s and 285/75r17 from the start but oh well

Well, time estimate was correct, 1 hour to get caught up in this damn thread. JFC y'all. Slow the hell down already.

Just a quick note: The AC, RC trucks and DC trucks have different wiring schematics. It's really important when reading the EWD to make sure you're on the correct model. Sometimes the AC and RC match, but the DC is practically a different beast.

FFS, musta been skunked after that long. :puke:

    OOF. Sucks.

Nice! What'd you go with? Clearly LED, but ...

I swear, that man is a lightning rod for pre-venison. What's the damage?

Actually tasted normal, but I really didn't care. Tundra2 iron gut wins again.

Yeah, that's a Tundra2 family curse. I inherited a lighter dose than him or maybe I just know how to drive my truck better... iunno.

No obvious damage this time, but I haven't inspected anything yet.

Yes exactly. The skid row plates mount right up but 1 of the 3 bolts was a bitch to line up. I eventually got it. In the past his website said you could pay a little extra for a light bar cutout/ mount. He would also cut TRD into the bumper but he forgot to do that to mine. :(

Looks like he revamped his website.
