As you install them, you have to fudge pinched tolerances by starting bolts before parts are all flush with one another - I can rephrase if someone doesn't get what I mean by that. As you crank the bolts down, the missed tolerances are probably making up the difference by bending the frame of the seat just a smidge. It all works, but it's just a little PITA getting it there. I have v1, and I don't feel the pins are a necessary component. Looking at your pic of v2, not sure how that installs, but it looks simpler, which is likely better.

Thank you - they turned out great!

Ordered them from Sparks Parts. They're not a perfect match, but they're close enough that you can't tell unless you're up close and looking for it! It's so close that I think it's lighter than the truck's paint, and my wife thinks it's darker than the truck's paint.

Does anyone know a rough price range I should be looking for to get these bumper end caps clear bra'd prior to install?

Originally I thought the GM style tow mirrors looked a bit goofy & I took them off. But after a front level lift, color matched caps, new wheels & big tires I gave them another chance. I think they look 100x better now.

Nice! Yea they look really good from the other side of the internet. I don’t have an answer for you on clear bra stuff. I know for the place by me, it’s 1k+ to have the entire front end done.

Newly arrived '21 TRD Pro received a bed mat so stuff won't roll around. The front sway bar arrived and the rear bar should be here tomorrow (hopefully). Looks like rain for a couple days and I have no ability to work in the garage right now, so the sway bars may have to await install.

Can someone explain the advantage of the TRD front sway bar vs the OEM front sway bar? They seem to be exactly the same, except the red paint and the weight of the bar. Is the weight what makes it better? I have the rear TRD sway bar, but still have the factory front.

Supposedly more stiff and well built. I took mine off, but that's a debate that'll derail quickly.

I like the look of the red front sway bar but have heard the TRD front sway bar makes little to no difference. I may just paint mine when I paint my front tow hooks.

The stock bar is 17 pounds and hollow. The TRD bar is solid and weighs 29 lbs. It does tighten up the front end to make it feel more controllable.

You can buy a non-red front sway by just buying the sequoia OE sway...identical besides color as TRD for tundra...life hack

You take them of for the Line-x? Mine factory paint matched ones are getting scuffed up.

its heavier and more rigid. I upgraded mine and like the improved handling it provides. Plus it adds another touch of red which i like as well.

I’ve read it’s for better articulation when offroading.
@pvn.beluga and @Ted4311 have y’all noticed a little looseness in corners without the front sway bar?

looking at the tip drives me I asked my Toyota dealer for one and was told at the time I had to buy the whole TRD exhaust system. They piss me off alot there! I wouldn’t use them if I didn’t have an extended service package.
