Alright alright, I know this probably has been asked MANY MANY times.

However, just to clarify, when rotating tires on 4WD vehicles (without SPARE), is it:

    FRONT DRIVER TO REAR DRIVER
    FRONT PASSENGER TO REAR PASSENGER

I'm seeing some videos/threads that are saying you'll need to cross the rears - so then it'll be:

    REAR DRIVER TO FRONT PASSENGER
    REAR PASSENGER TO FRONT DRIVER

In what application would the second apply to?

Pick your poison. I just do front straight to back.

Most tire shops do back to front and front to back. The important thing is to rotate every 5K miles.

That is how I always have rotated my tires.

Yeah, I just did mine yesterday and was confused on the "right" way to do it. But I mean as long as tread is wearing evenly, that's what will matter the most. Rotated and torqued down to 97 ft/lbs.

Tires can be directional. It's maybe unlikely in AT or MT tires, I don't know as I'm not a tire nerd, but the Toyo snow tires on my wife's van are that way. For example, I can't put the LF on the RR.

I've always crossed them. Assuming they're not directional tires. Either way you can't really go wrong with.

By the time you're ready to buy new tires, assuming you don't have alignment issues, the difference would be negligible.

Pretty sure the Bridgestone Duelers H/T that come stock aren't directional...

    Correct. They're not directional.

I have always done a crossed pattern on all my vehicles. However, the tundra book actually tells you just to do front to back.

Interesting, I have always crossed the tires moving to the drive axle and moved the other set forward or back (depending on FWD or RWD), but I see what you are talking about in the manual.
