Some BD S2 ditch lights!

 

Did some polishing and scratch touch up here and there on the truck today. Having a little buyer’s remorse with my OE size BFG A/Ts. I really wish I had gone up a size or two. I wonder if I could sell these on Craigslist or something if I bought bigger ones… they’ve only got about 5k miles on them. I doubt I’d get close to what I paid though. Bummer.

Just installed these caliraised fog lights. Really like the view, just wondering though if I’m going to get a rattle, kind snapped a piece of plastic on the one wheel well area.

I did the same on my previous Tundra. Just screwed it back in even though the clamps was broken from wheel well.

Where did you get the grill lights?

 

I tried that but the screws had nothing to bite into.

Installed the xmas present from the wife...fortin remote start from tech12volts. Even works with my previously installed 3wliners automatic window module. Hooray, just in time for winter!

AJT Designs full interior blackout kit. Now i need to upgrade the shift knob ASAP, looks awful in comparison.

Didn’t do anything to the Tundra today, but me and my son spent some quality garage time on his Camaro SS today. New Airaid cold air intake and strut tower brace, was a great afternoon…

 

Picked up a set of the ugly OEM towing mirrors today. I don’t need them at the moment but the very reasonable. $300 for the pair in cherry shape with original boxes. Guy said he only used them a week but they look like the he only opened the box.

 

Got my wiring and switches installed.

the clamp that broke off is the part the screw bites into. I think I just clipped it back on to hold the wheel well back on to prevent rattling...

 

Ordered the black chrome tip posted above. Going silver and black with the exterior.

 

Installed my @ragofabrication modular dash mount. Now my phone will stay in place when getting dirty. Looking forward to mounting other things.


Also installed my @Diode Dynamics SS3 Max ditch lights. I’m pretty happy with the light output.

 

Drove out to a field. Hiked a bit. Shot some guns. Great day!

 

Sprayed the entire drivetrain, and then some, with FluidFilm and the WoolWax Pro gun by Kellsport. Very glad I did this as I plan to keep the truck a long time, and rust is something I wanted to stay ahead of and/or prevent completely, I'm confident that FluidFilm will do well but will surely reapply next fall.

 

Grabbed some diode dynamic fogs from our man @memario1214 finally got them installed. One of the easiest mods I’ve done to date.
