Hey guys! Got something really cool for Christmas, and wanted to show off a bit. It's a 1/35 scale rc tundra. I have about 16 hours into the build right now. This thing is SMALL and the parts are damn near microscopic. But it was a joy to build, and the quality of this kit is insane given how small it is. Got it painted tonight, but still need to sand it and clear coat it, then glue on the mirrors and door handles. I used spray on bed liner for the bumpers and the bed. The lights and wiring will have to wait till I get time for that, I'm sure it'll take many hours, I've never seen wires so small. I have mods coming already, adjustable shocks to lift it, bigger tires, and matching rims all metal drivetrain and axles. Enjoy!20211226_194443.jpg 20211226_194449.jpg 20211226_194456.jpg 20211226_194503.jpg 20211226_200312.jpg

Get yourself a lighted clamp on magnifying glass about 6" diameter. So much easier!

I'd definitely recommend it for the soldering, thankfully I have steady hands and 20/10 vision, so the build wasn't too hard, I've been building rcs since I was kid, I definitely wouldn't take on this project if you're inexperienced.

I'm gonna be picking up a lighted station with clamps when I start soldering the lights. My beard hairs are thicker than the wires, and that's no exaggeration!

I'll post a link to the kit I got. It came with everything I needed except the battery. I forget if I used the motor I came with or got a different rpm motor. I also ordered new rims to somewhat match my truck, larger tires, and a few other goodies. Gimme a couple weeks and I can see what I did exactly. It's currently packed since we're moving.
