Nope. Too close to my state and we have snow although we keep it in the mountains where it belongs. Plus they have snow in AZ. And Op has stated he can't drive in the snow. So, Florida or further south he goes. Sorry.

I wonder if it’s because of the missing trans cooler?
    :monocle:
Wait, that can’t be it, because I don’t have one either. But I haven’t had any problems driving in the snow.

Be thankful you’ve at least got tow hooks to get pulled out when you fail to understand how to use the traction control systems to your advantage…

Here in the people's republik of MD, we get two inches of salt dropped for a half inch of snow! Still doesn't stop vehicles from littering the woods along every roadway though.

Do a search here for 'Automatic Traction Control Disable Mod.' There's 2 different units by members. Nothing for my 2010 though!:angrygirl:

I'm assuming you read OP's post and realized you were in mortal danger. Got out and abandoned your truck right where it is. Hopefully it's still there when spring get's here.:rofl:

I would say more than a few. But you had to use that word "proficiently" which takes into account the skills of the driver. I'd say fewer of those! :D

I had a near death experience going into town last night in the snow, and then coming back home from town last night.
And don't get me started on how scary it was again this morning to come into work...

You need to weight that truck down. Coming from Montana, the first thing you do is put 200 lbs sand bags in the back.
Second we ran studded tires 6 months of the year. The best AWD vehicles can loose tractions when icy.
I have been to places that I had to put chains on my 4wd. Its best not to go there.
