I still have a Baja designs dome light waiting to install… when I figure out how I’m going to tap the cargo light

I have one as well from like 4 years ago for the Runner, it might end up being in the camper shell……
I did put one on the tail gate of the 4runner, it’s great other than the husky liner turns it on sometimes. I’ll be all ocd and look out the window like I usually do; and notice a blinding light, shining in the back of the 4runner but illuminating the entire interior…….
Go outside to turn it off and I can’t believe the husky liner hasn’t melted from the heat of that tiny light!!!

I guess I have a red switched that will be going in the shell…..:)

i want to put the light at the front of the cap. and use the factory cargo light switch to turn it on.. just because thats the easiest way to make it work how i want.

@Tundra2 Sweet score on the cap! I have been looking for one for mine, and never see them for sale. Can't imagine trying to find one for the long bed, super rare!

This one was never posted for "sale." @Rocinetti had mentioned selling his truck so I messaged him, and asked if he would seperate the shell from the truck.

He agreed, and now here we are. He just happened to be only three hours away from me. Good guy! Wish I could afford his truck too...

After what looked, and sounded like like Pops hacking up most of his lungs, he is feeling "better" and has decided not to go to the ER against my wishes I can't force him into the truck so I'm at a stale mate.

The only one I can really monitor is how he tells me he feels, and his BP. I don't have one of them fancy finger readers. I tried to count his pulse but he keeps distracting me with stories...

Anyways, while we are converting I've been digging up a PDF and have asked @empty_lord to confirm gear ratios.

    V6.
    20211224_210941.jpg

    Crackie.
    20211224_211002.jpg

According to this PDF file... the V6 has a 7.5" ring gear, with 3.727 gearing, and 2 pinions. A02A

Crackie has a 7.5" ring gear with 4.10 gearing, and 2 pinions. A03A.

According to Toyota owners, crackie has 3.909 rear diff... so which one do I believe????
