Black on the outward facing part would defeat the purpose. The shiny silver reflects energy back through the windshield, keeping the interior of the truck from getting as hot as quickly.

 

But it’s great for baking cookies or unwanted creepers in the back of your truck.

I have a full set of these - they custom cut them to fit the side and rear windows as well as the windshield. Reversible silver and black (looks like you’re in an area where that’s helpful). My truck’s not a daily driver, so it’s nice to seal the whole thing up when it’s not going anywhere for a few days. Not sure if the whole six-window set would be worth putting up and taking down just going back and forth from work or the store.

Looks like the full-vehicle kit for yours would run about $140.

went camping over the weekend, picked up a lot of dust near the tailgate. any specific tailgate sealing strip I should look for? I found some on Amazon but it doesn't say if it will work for '21 tundra.

From Sparks parts. But yeah, my old antique 2018 doesn’t have the smart key stuff lol. I still have to use an actual key to start the truck.

I haven’t ordered them yet, but those Meso dome and map lights look pretty damn good for the money. I really like that you can change between white and red light.
