Haha. We don't have reviews until the end of March a week before new raises go into effect. Performance and raise are determined 6 months prior so you can't get them to change anything if they're wrong. They'll only note your disagreement.

I'm leaving shortly to drop the dogs off at camp, then driving to Pittsburgh to meet a friend for dinner before catching a flight to Orlando tomorrow at o'dark thirty.

    Haha your frustration is noted.
We actually all got “merit” raises, to put us “equal” with the other side of the house, but it’s still not close because they title us under a super broad umbrella that only equals one of their lowest paid in a similar job title. But then there is also taxes, haha let’s see if I make less than before at take home! It’s better than a poke in the eye, and a small step in the right direction, so I can’t complain too much

I am off until Sunday. Already have 38 hours on the books. Lol.

Need to either torque the new booster down on the V6 or remove it again to put some flex tape on the mating surfaces. Inside the cab noises are gross now. Was quiet as a jaybird before.

My wife works for a small family owned company that is trying to get more structured. She was supposed the have a formal review that she stressed over for weeks but it never happened. Normally she just waits until her annual anniversary and calls the owner and asks for a raise. Small companies can be great like that sometimes.

When I worked for the State, the long-standing rumor was that each agency could only give out so many 4s and 5s (1 -5 scale where 3 was meeting expectations and 1 would get you fired) each year as mandated by SPD. (State Personnel Dept)
What those dickheads didn't know is that I have a friend in SPD who confirmed that was never a rule and that people would spread that lie to put the blame elsewhere instead of just owning up to not giving out raises to make their agency look more profitable...and then give themselves high reviews for being profitable...and get good raises for it.
    Cunts.

Important part is that the truck stops now.

We've already been told they can't match the 7% inflation rate this year and that a "merit" raise equates to the cost of living. Do poorly, and you'll get 1/2 of that. Want a higher raise? You have to get promoted.

Beatings will now continue until morale improves...

Every time I venture over to the Turd gen section it makes me thankful we don't have much drama here. All they do is argue.

I went over there to ask what kind of MPG people are reporting with the new Tundra. The early data isn't great.

I actually said something similar to that in a thread last night and the mods edited it to “you guys wanna make out with me?”

I get it, I poked the bear and I will admit that it got a good chuckle out of me. But seriously, every. other. comment is someone either whining about something, whining about a speculation, or whining about someone else’s comment regarding that speculation.

And now, I’m whining about their whining. :annoyed:

OK, request for comment. New bumper is on, I re-cycled the old bolts, they are trashed.
I ordered an M12x1.25 thread repair tool just to get a nice clean thread on the weld nuts.
Now it's decision time. Do I attempt to replace two carriage bolts, two M12 bolts, 4 nuts, 4 washers and 4 lock washers individually? Or do I suck it up and get the $54 RHK from eTrailer which will have extra bolts as the new bumper doesn't use one of the holes that the Curt uses.

I'm leaning towards just getting the kit.

If you know exactly what hardware you need, just buy it all at Ace or McMaster Carr. Should be less than $54.
If you don't, get the kit and you should get what you need.

Personally, I would go with whomever graded their bolts so you know what you're getting in terms of tensile and estimated sheer strength.

I dunno, I feel like it could look really cool if the letters were painted TRD colors.

In southern AL right now w/family. Really tempted to roll down the road and look at this thing. https://dothan.craigslist.org/pts/d/river-falls-1971-vw-super-beetle/7416925580.html

Was this the one in kingwood with 335k? It's still listed for sale on craigslist. I was thinking about buying it to to jack the running boards and wheels off it. Decided I would give my wife a break though, it's Christmas after all.

Ok, I ordered up a red TRD. That black one was an OEM part for T4R. Might have to attempt to put it on the tailgate or something where the V8 is right now. Once I get blackout badges done.

    This hits home.

I was working in my friend's brewery about 8 days ago, doing some low voltage work. Literally everyone there except 1 (95% of staff) tested pos in the last 96 hours. Had to take the kids to see my parents this week, one parent rocking the big "C" and 3 round in on chemo. Took two at-home tests before heading out, neg. PCR on the 20th, neg. With them now, had one at-home neg yesterday, but the one today inconclusive, maybe defective strip. Annoying.

If this shit doesn't kill me, the stress of killing my folks will.

So that arrival/departure stuff, there's really no way to get flashy flashy going with lock/unlock and rs3000 or whatever keyless stuff I have? Seems like there might be some way to tap the lock and unlock pulses into the flashy system with a diode and/or relay or something?

Speaking of the DD flasher module that is.

You got me on this one. I feel like someone mentioned (probably EL) what was missing that made it not work but I can't recall the source.

Well the remflex gaskets are a bit here and now the date is showing January 8th. Do I try running the factory MLS gaskets on these headers?

Depends on what it needs to see. But I could see it possibly working with diodes.

I dunno, Lighting is a dumb category name but I ran out of creativity. I could separate into headlight and plate light categories but with only a small handful of products I'm not sure it makes sense to have tons of different pages.
