Trying to see housing prices around other states.. just had mine appraised. Never thought of moving cause I love Vegas but it would be fun to just try something new..

With the upgrades (extending wooden floors to my office; 3rd car garage) $470k

We'll have $100k down from the sale of the current house and will be able to pay off the Tundra

Yea that's kinda like me.. I owe 100k left on my house buts it's appraised for 330k so I'd have 220k to put down on a new one

That's a nice lookin house... nice one

    Congrats sir!!!

Up here in the hills the housing market is ridiculous! That $470K would get me a two bedroom condo off of transient rentals. This is why I'm still renting.

I've looked down there where you are but can't rob my kids of their backyard adventures. My son teaches snowboarding and mountain biking so the close proximity is key for him.

I am quite envious of you though, brother!! VERY NICE HOME IN THE MAKING!! We might need to do a Tundra parade to inaugurate the new crib when it's time

Colorado would love to have you and with a nice down payment that you say you'll get from yours you'd be able to really get something nice.

Just don't look at the prices near a ski area. You'd laugh at what homes cost. I don't own because of that

Oh, there's no doubt your money is much better there than it would be here without changing the type of clientele. There are people making 6 figures around ski towns but in the city you really need to hook up the right spot to hit those numbers

Congrats @Sean266. Well deserved. Looks like a Richmond American home. Already penciled in my calendar in Feb the housewarming party :bananadance::cheers:

I squeezed off a "tundra parade" suggestion for housewarming. If he asked really kindly we might even help him move.....

maybe he's saving that question for the ColoradoBS thread

Congrats to you and your family Sean ! Nothing like being the 1st in a new home you can make your own. You may need to talk to Joe about converting to a side by side fridge ;). Looks like you'll have plenty of garage space to keep all the vehicles safe and dry. Excited for you folks.......
