The 2 that are really amazing are hominy and chocolate. Both require fairly complex multiple steps with careful timing, and involve chemical processes but were developed by primitive cultures.

Almost, my HQ building dates back to the 30’s when it was built by the CCC. It’s had a few additions, but my office is the old superintendent cabin. We modernized it 2 winters ago with new built in desks.

We have a state park near by (where something like 90% of these awesome pine trees burned down years back) and they have some awesome stone buildings built by the CCC. I'll have to try to get some pics of them.

 

The sequel makes me all teary every time I watch it. I guess it's because it's so relatable to me when his wife gets off of the plane and says "Why does this shit always happen to us?!" I may have added "shit" to make it even more relatable.

I pulled these off of the internet. It's Buescher State Park - what's really cool is that you can drive through it and end up in Bastrop State Park. I guess the buildings are from the early 40's.

Looks exactly like the Boy Scout camp by my house. Used have fires and drink beer there when we were young.

 

Other parks I’ve worked at have buildings that look more like what you have, different stone of course. Amazing what they did with what was available on site

Yep, pretty much all the locals do. Been pretty quiet since the state police held a night training in the park with their air wing. By chance they broke up a party with 50 underage kids. Imagine suddenly being surrounded by 15 started officers geared up and a helicopter spotlighting your drinking party.

 

I did the same thing a month ago. Opened the air box and said well shit this ain’t right.
