Excellent. I'm gonna be spending a couple of days there camping. I'm hoping the weather is good enough to explore the beach.

I’m, perhaps, a little crazy, but I love walking on the beach in the worst winter storms. The froth from the waves freezes on the sand, the reeds along the beach front are like straws made of ice, and in the high winds you have to lean into the wind at about a 30* angle.
Just make sure you have a hot shower and a fireplace with some hot coffee when you get back!

Awesome!! We're supposed to get up to a few inches tomorrow morning, but everything has melted, so it's starting fresh again. I wasn't sure if there was a break between the storm tomorrow morning and Saturday. Glad there is, but have my chains ready, just in case!!

Yeah, at 0 miles to empty you’ve still got 6 gallons in there. You’re fine

Yep. You’ve got a 26 gallon tank but if you run your truck to the yellow fuel light you’ll only put 20-21 gallons in to fill it. The 2016+ (with the right options) have 38 gallon tank and at 0/yellow light they will take 32 gallons to fill. There’s a reserve in there that has been argued as to exactly why it exists (to cool the fuel pump, to ensure that even in a steep grade you don’t starve the fuel system, etc) but any way you shake it, that’s what is there.

Oh yeah. I was calculating on my way to work this morning. The variable I left out was idling during traffic. Almost 90 to get from Gresham to Wilsonville this afternoon. But like you said I was fine. Ended up cutting off at $100. Close enough to full for me for this next week as I have the next four days off. If it gets really crazy ill leave the Tundra at home with the wife and steal her 4Runner.

I am not an eggnog fan. My wife is Puerto Rican and they have a variation that supposedly is amazing. Its called Coquito. Everyone that I know that has ever tried it freaking loves it. My mother in law makes it starting on Thanksgiving through New Years...or as long as my wife can get her to do it.

The bed rail caps sit on top of the bed sides and are secured by the upside down arrow clips that are part of the cap so be careful not to break too many. Start with the end closest to the cab by lifting the outer edge and using a trim removal tool to gently depress each fastener to release. Its pretty much a pair of clips every 3-4 inches. Take your time when starting out and you'll figure it out pretty quick.

The coming weather will be interesting. Wife needs to get a few final things for Christmas dinner, but it will have to wait for Friday morning. Hopefully the stores won’t be too picked over by then.

My weather apps are all over the place. They are showing a ten degree difference or more. Witchcraft masked as science.

    Statistically……
Weather forecasts are only 50% accurate, 9 days out. Not witchcraft, just not really much science, lol

I think you are being generous. They are maybe 50% accurate 48hrs out, at least around here.

This time last year I actually deleted my weather apps and decided to just open a window. I lasted until camping season started…

Damn. I get around 11.5-12 on my daily travels. Last time I went to boise with 2 adults and 2 kids I got around 15.5 all freeway for the 900 miles round trip.
