2019 TRD PRO Grill, Leveling kit, front and rear sway bars, TRD cold air intake, 18" black trd wheels, rigid ditch lights, cali raised ditch light mounts, Rock lights, TRD cold air intake, tri-fold bed cover, rhino lined bed lining, blacked out badges, remote start.
I wanted to start a page for my tundra build. I started with a 2018 limited offroad.
I bought my 2018 quicksand limited offroad toyota tundra with 7,000 miles on it. The truck was driven by the general manager of the toyota dealership who had upgraded it with a leveling kit, front + rear sway bars, black trd pro wheels, and replaced the standard limited grill with a sport grill...reducing some but not enough chrome.

I fell in love with quicksand the second I saw it in person. My idea from the beginning was to build my own TRD pro. In my opinion, the honeycomb grille on the 2019 TRD pro looks better then the older TRD pro grille. I know that is a controversial topic...So I purchased the 2019 TRD pro front grille, mirror caps and lower bumpers painted quicksand. Blacked out emblems and door handles were also part of that upgrade.

Cali raised ditch light brackets to support some rigid lights. Since the 2018 Tundras do not have puddle lights, I installed some rock lights under all 4 doors and tied them into the dome light which turns on when you open and close the door.

I allways liked the color match center bumper that you get only on the sport models, so I purchased a sport bumper and had it painted quicksand to match. Most recently I installed the illuminated front letters that are also painted quicksand.

My newest and latest upgrade is a new fiberglass hood with a functional hood scoop!! I'm waiting on the paint shop to update the pictures here! Just a few weeks away!!

Aftermarket halo headlights with HID, various LED bulb replacements. 17" Fuel Blitz wheels with some 33" Nitto terra grapplers. Hoodscoop, nfab nerfbars, Bushwacker flares. No-name aftermarket grille, led fender extensions. Black Horse bambi-basher. Various offroad lights.
Nice start to a build thread. But why is it in New Member Introductions?

I just got back from the paint shop today with a functional hood scoop painted to match. Everything lines up and colors match perfectly!

Do you notice any performance benefit from the hood and functional air intake?

I don't notice any difference in performance or lower engine temps but if looks equate to performance then this hood added 50 horsepower to the rear wheels easy! "sarcasm"
