This looks fantastic. I wonder if this is an avenue I could use for crackie. The seat foam on the drivers side is all fucked up though. Guess I could cut up a cheap pillow, but...... not sure if it'd feel right.

I'm pretty sure replacement foam is available. I think I heard someone who ordered some.

Had the shop fix the caster, they had it around +1.6, left at +2.8-.9
Figured out the black voodoo that was preventing the backup camera from coming on.
Went ahead with the switchpros panel mount idea.

Any idea on the source? OEM? Aftermarket?

I think our seats are comfy, but was unsure how to fix this till now.

Thanks. Hopefully with them all done it will look better. I would check around for an upholstery shop…may me cheaper to get your seat fixed than you think.

It should feel like it used to. At slower speeds, there is no real difference. I always have them put it as close to +3. I forgot to specify this time, and it was 1.6-1.8. When I got on the freeway I could feel the difference. Too willing to turn, felt less stable. I haven't been back on the freeway yet, but it's back to where it has been so I expect to be happy.

Fabric stores, stores like Joanne's - they sell foam in various densities. You just have to decide how dense you want - a clerk should be able to tell which is appropriate for a chair bottom.

Damn, you’re lucky. I’ve read through the write up that says all DCs have the wiring but I am 100% certain that I don’t.

Bummer. I would say you don’t if there isn’t 3 plugs coming out of the floor under the seat. I wonder what the deciding factor is in which DCs get them and which don’t

So went to go finalise the deal on the mr2 officially in person, also had him test the stock injectors from my truck. Happy to report my injectors had wonderful spray patterns for 4 holes, and they flowed 250cc on average. The 1zz injectors were ~255 on average. So they’re a perfect fit. Again no noticeable power gains, but on average, 1mpg gain for me

Same, SR5. I know mine passed through S.E.T. though because I've got several port installed items like the 2wd TRD package.

I *really* wish Toyota used one fewer shades of gray in our interiors. I feel the same way. When I replaced my door handles the gray is cooler (looks closer to your seat colors). This was the main reason I removed the wood grain trim too and have the black now, and why I want to put the black floor mats in. There is like 5 slightly different colors of gray in our trucks...

You'd bake in the summer tho. I love my black truck, but it cooks in the summer. I've insulated the roof, tinted the windows, and still feel the need to shade the windshield and leave the windows cracked. Anybody else with a black truck suffer from this? Guess its just a trade-off for having the fastest, eh?

I leave a rear window open in Summer. It isn't usually too bad but I have clothe interior.

Once I'm in it I just outrun the sunshine and it cools down fast.

I've never had a black truck, but I've had many black cars. Even black cars with leather.
As the Dark One said, just leave the windows ajar to let the air circulate and all will be well.

Yeah, it is like 50 shades of grey in my interior lol. Did you heat your seats? If so, were they installed professionally or did you do them?
