awesome! Looks great. I got the console safe too, and was worried it’d take up the entire thing, but it looks great.

I saw this pearl white platinum pulling into the parking lot in SA today. I talked to the driver and he actually drives the new trucks for Toyota. I got some really good info on the current truck and potential future ideas.

I thought some of the new 2022 owners would like to see the rear bed on this tundra had a hard foldable bed cover, rubber bed mat & a flip bed extender. All three are after market accessories but he didn’t know the company that made them off hand. He did say that the new hybrid tundra that should release in March is a very impressive truck to drive. We did talk about the idea of a two tone paint and he said that it adds a lot of extra cost on the production line, so it’s not likely to happen. He did talk to me about all the towing they did in the mountains with this new truck with a heavy towing load. I liked the extendable and folding towing mirror option this truck now has. It was really nice to talk to someone who is on the early side of the production of this truck and shared some great information as well.

Only thing mine doesn't have that I wanted is leather seats. Dealership putting them in (on their dime) as soon as the Katzkins for these trucks becomes available. Pretty stoked about it so far. Only thing that I'm annoyed with is the fact that it doesn't automatically load my phone profile when the radio boots up. I have to click "Dismiss" on the "No profile found" screen then click "Load found profile" when it pops up.

The gray grille color on that one with the white doesn't look to bad, it's tolerable. That black tailgate trim though looks so out of place, if that was just color matched it would look so much better.

yes, all the windows have auto up/down and the panoramic moonroof. The back window does not.

Homelink did work when I left the doors unlocked and put the key in my house. Not sure if locking the door turns off power to the homelink system, unable to test that right now.

Use the PM feature. We have other threads specifically for this topic. Tired of good threads getting trashed over people comments about payload.

This isn’t directed at you personally, but as a general observation.

Thank you for addressing this. I am tired of random people coming in the 3g board just to drop a deuce, saying how ugly the truck is.

Believe me, most people are tired of it and action is going to start for the people that do.

I’m pretty sure if we seen bunch of 1.0/2.0/2.5 members getting quotes “your truck looks like shit” they would lose their minds. Now for the people that don’t even own a Tundra…no Bueno.

Congrats! I'm actually at the dealer right now for my 10k oil change and they don't have a single Tundra in the lot, they have 2 4Runner Pro and they asked me if I wanna trade. Lol.

Sat in a limited Dc yesterday at my “local” dealer, initial thought were that the softex is comfortable and definitely spacious in the front but the back seat was very tight best thing I could compare it to is my 2018 Tacoma dc backseat over all I love the redesign. Have a allocation in Longo Toyota for a limited white crew cab but said it will probably take 3-5 months to get it … oh well. Also the spray in Bedliner was actually a lot nicer that I had expected.

We’re gonna have to fight for it haha but in all seriousness I feel like a lot of the “middle” states are getting allocations a hell of a lot faster then the east and west coast I’m assuming due to them being built in Texas. In due time I’m looking at other dealerships but if they don’t do msrp then I’m just going to wait

The front grille surround was actually a black chrome. I’ve always liked the black chrome versus the regular chrome look. It’s more subdued.

My feeling would be hurt if someone said my truck looked like shit. But then I would remember that my truck is a white 1st Gen, making it the best and fastest. My feeling would no longer be hurt.

But yeah...I'm thinking of selling my truck next spring or summer and buying a MGM 3rd gen. :crapstorm:

MGM and silver look incredible. Silver is my first choice but at least here in Canuckistan it doesn't look like the SR5 TRD Off Road is available in silver.

Follow up to a question earlier. I spoke to the General Manager of a large dealership and he informed me that there may be some delay or slowing in production. I had heard this before on the forum. Don’t know how credible the info is. Making me nervous. I’m still waiting on the next allocation.

Y'all like action shots, don't you? And yes, I listened to the owner's manual and waited until after 500 miles..and no, i didn't rawhide it

Truck performs really well with a loaded trailer. 11.5 MPG pulling a 20 foot dovetail with a Tacoma behind it, hardly even knew the trailer was back there half the time.

So I’ve had my truck for about 10 days and couldn’t be happier. I’ve so far added the hard cover and rubber mats. I’m super happy with the truck so far. Get about 16 mpg. Not bad considering I’ve been towing , accelerating heavy and idling for hours learning the truck and working. Here are some images of my truck.
