HA! I watched it a few weeks ago on my lady's request. I had never seen the whole movie start to finish. I saw there was a second one but haven't gotten to it yet.

 

I actually like the second one the best. They're corny movies for sure, but hey, it's Tim Allen.

I’m having a hard time getting into season 2, season 1 was great but 2 is slow…. I hope it speeds up

Starting matrix resurrection

 

I bought tickets and am supposed to see it tonight. But really I just want to support the box office. I may decide to keep the tickets and not go, and instead light up the fireplace and watch it at home, especially now that HBO Max and other streaming services are streaming in Atmos. My HT is awesome!

Last week through this week so far...

Fanboys - Your standard early adult party adventure story about a few Star Wars fans that go on an adventure. Probably a 6/10 but contains about every B name actor you can think of. Worth the watch for a few chuckles.

Power On: The Story of Xbox - Lot of good information in here, though it is 7 parts and 4 hours total. 8/10 Perfect for the geek or gamer.

Law Abiding Citizen - Gerard Butler gets revenge on "the system" that let his wife's killers off easy. I've seen this before, but needed some background. If you haven't seen it, you should. 8/10 Gerard Butler in a great role.

Office Christmas Party - Your standard raunchy comedy about a corporate christmas party gone wrong/right. I don't know, it wasn't very good considering the cast. 5/10 I think I laughed once or twice.

The Ugly Truth - Another Gerard Butler movie (you know how this goes) romcom with Catherine Heigle. I gotta give this movie at least an 8/10 because Gerard's character "Mike" (note, not Mike Banning of the 'has Fallen' series) tells it how it is when it comes to men and women. Obviously a broad generalization, but for the most part "he isn't wrong". It's not all super sappy lovey dovey, give it a watch if you have a moment.

I think all this Gerard Butler stuff started because I watched Tomb Raider which had him in it. Don't remember much about that one.

 

Have you seen Gamer? That's probably my favourite of his that I've seen.

 

I have. 300 Is definitely my favorite Gerard Butler movie. But, I mean, that's a phenomenal movie reaching 9+/10 rating in my book.

 

300 is easily my favorite Gerard Butler movie. But I admit, I also love the "< so and so> Has Fallen" movies. More of a guilty pleasure though.

I also enjoyed Fanboys. I still watch that one every so often.

 

Yeah, that action sequence of taking over the Whitehouse in Olympus Has Fallen was probably one of the best in action film history. Phenomenal.

 

I completely forgot about this one. I enjoyed it as well. Gonna have to re-watch it now. Maybe next week since I'm off the whole week.

 

Butler is one of my favorite actors. I'll watch any action movie he puts out. I'm a huge fan of the "Has Fallen" series too. It's modern action movies at their best. Heroes, villains, guns, explosions, quotable lines.

"If you don't train like it's real, you're dead when it is."

"Things are about to get sporty".

"What do they make you guys out of?..."Bourbon and poor life choices."

Apparently a 4th one, "Night Has Fallen" has been given the green light.

 

Ok, now I'm gonna have to add these to the watch list for next week as well lol.

Another thing that was cool was Morgan Freeman's character going from speaker, to VP, to President. I only saw the 3rd one once on some streaming service. I later grabbed the 4k UHD blu-ray that I haven't watched yet so I'm looking forward to a re-watch. And I wasn't aware of a 4th installment. I'm game!
