    Besides the misfire, I only heard an exhaust leak, but with the O2 error code made me think it was a gasket or possibly a cracked manifold. No broken springs, not sure what happened

    Not sure how, #6 cylinder is dead, the valve struck the piston, not sure why, spring is not broken, the timing belt was installed about 3000 miles ago.

    Besides the bad gas? None. It was driving just fine, I had to accelerate had to merge into traffic and just heard a pop, then the misfire

    I wonder if its possible that water contamination in the gas prevented compression and lead to the damage?

    Timing belt slip?

    It's the kind of thing that can happen under heavy acceleration if the tensioner is defective.
