Sooo you're just leave the Parking brake on? Lol
Sometimes I want them off for stealth mode into the driveway. I remember a while back some cars you couldn't turn the headlights off at all. My friend had a 2000 or 2002 Camaro that did that. She worked for aerospace and they required that you turn off your headlights when you come up to the guard gate. She had a literally show them that she couldn't turn them off.

I think it was when they were making them in Canadia.

You're Tundra is equipped with DRL. (standard) you cannot, by factory default turn those off while the vehicle is on

Stealth mode? Don't want your wife to know you're getting home late? Now the story gets interesting :pccoffee:

For me my neighbors bedrooms are right along my driveway. Sometimes I come home really late and I always leave early in the morning. Typically I don't turn on my headlights until I back into the street. When I come home late at night I always kill the lights before I pull in the driveway. Those Ambers do light up quite a bit of area when it's dark out. Also when I go camping I don't like to light up peoples campsite if I'm doing a late night run. I wait till I'm not facing any of them to hit the lights. Or if im running from the cops! Jk

I guess it's all out the window once I get my dirty exhaust in the mail! But still I'd rather hear a nice V-8 than have my bedroom lit up with lights.

Had a neighbor at my old house that had a dodge with a cummins. Thing was loud. Woke us up every time they started it or came home. One of the reasons we no longer live there. I would have taken lights shining in my bedroom any day over that exhaust.

I alway kill my headlights when coming home late or leaving early from habit.

Used to have the bedroom perpendicular to the driveway. At times I would leave for work at 4-5 in the morning or get home no earlier than midnight depending on the shift.

DRL Delete mod, possibly cut or unpin the gray wire in the flasher relay, maybe using a switch in the gray wire if you don't want it off permanently and just occasionally like I did

The parking amber lights. Yes I want stealth mode I was waiting on someone at a particular parking lot and its 100 degrees at night in southern Louisiana. Anyway it looks like I'm sitting there waiting on a drug deal with my amber parking lights on.

They are DRLs. I think you sitting in the truck in the middle of the night with no lights on would make it look more like you are waiting on a drug deal

My neighbor came over the week after I purchased my truck and looked at the exhaust (GM factory tip is 5") and asked me to keep the factory exhaust and muffler due to these reasons. I told him I planned on keeping the truck factory and new diesels do not have mufflers anymore. He was a little shocked.
