What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Well today we (my truck and I) did this.....



It's a sad day, she's growing up so fast. lol...

 

2 years and one month. Still a youngster.

 

I got my windows tinted a few days ago. Today I installed the running boards and the TRD sway bar. It's been raining up here for a few days and between that and work I finally was able to complete these tasks today. I feel very accomplished.

 

Cleaned the ol throttle body and MAF and threw in a brand new Optima battery....purrrs like a kitten.

But at least she's home. That's priceless. It's a badass ride that deserves to be in YOUR garage

No. I chucked 1.47 tons of busted up concrete into my factory sprayed bed. When I unloaded it, I saw that I dented the shit out of every surface. The wheel wells took a real lickin.

 

So this happened today. Sick of people looking at me like my truck is a P.O.S. When I turn and rub like hell. I'll figure something out to protect the fogs

 

She turned 40 today.

 

I trimmed the original liner. Doesn't cover all if it, but covers enough to help protect some.

 

Take a grinder to those two pieces sticking out, put plastic back on and drill a couple new holes on the bottom. Probably easier than trying to make something to cover the fogs.

 

Lol same boat as you. Might heat gun it and push it in a little to see if that helps

 

You pulled it apart? Took 4 bolts off or left on?

 

Already did all that and was still rubbing. In all actuality, this is problem just a pre cursor to me ordering a new bumper haha

 

Left it on and just sprayed and cleaned with a clean shop rag lot of built up crap around the butterfly I took the maf off and sprayed that with maf cleaner

 

She's just getting warmed up

Just had SR8's with KO2s installed with Bilstein 5100s all around (fronts on middle setting). Only had a 3 mi ride home from shop but ride is very smooth and quiet. And the wife really likes it so a win all around.

 

Does anybody know if there are any good Led headlight bulbs that will work in Spyders?

 

I was told from several retrofit guys leds aren't the best way to go in projectors. Not sure how true that is but they gotta know something I don't lol

I have some high output HIDs coming. Really the only way to improve on the Spyders from what numerous lighting guys have told me.

I love the Spyder look but the output is only really about the same as stock

 

I didn't realize our trucks were exactly the same super white DC! It's by far the most beautiful

 

Might not be the same color but it's nice to see the dc, tired of these guys boasting about their cm's lol

I wasn't a white truck fan until this truck. I usually think fleet or work truck when I think white. But I fell in love with the look of the Tundra in white. Taco looks nice too. And I like at least a 6' bed. I want the option of a shell and being able to sleep back there. I wouldn't mind a 6' bed with a dc 6" deaper. Or crew 6" shorter. However you wanna look at it.
