The outer frame and grill colour is called "dark chrome" on the platinum.

 

Is Toyota of Cedar Park your dealership? I need to give them a call lol

 

Is the platinum door badge and stripe also black like the wheel arches? I'm having trouble seeing in the pictures.

 

Ya but it’s looks silver everywhere else and the grill looks lighter everywhere else

I haven’t seen a photo or pic with it looking that dark anywhere

 

Here is an Platinum MGM with most of the plastic still on. Depending on the angle of the grill, it looks both chrome and dark chrome.

I think the mag gray is the color i like most on the 3rd gen, nice looking truck and congrats.

 

Which tri-fold cover did you get? Does the old 2.5 gen covers fit the new 3rd gen?

 

I wish I had mine already. That’s an MGM spec’ed identically to the black one I’m slated for. The dealer sent me that to help show what they look like in reality. I was up for either black or MGM but I decided on black.

The wheel arches and platinum badging are black, and the grill and wheels are the dark chrome. So with either color, there is going to be something that isn’t color matched.

If I’m wrong on my color choice, it’s going to be a long drive back from Ohio.

 

um doesnt the owners manual say not to tow for at least 500 miles?

 

Not mine so not trying to change the content of this thread but my dealer in Columbia, MO got two in Monday. Base SR5 and Limited TRD Offroad. I really like the spec on the Limited. $54K MSRP but I'm sure he'll pile on a huge adjustment like he always does lately.

 

The limited seems like the sweet spot for what you get vs price from what I have been seeing posted so far.

 

Yes, I have many more pics of it but I don't want to clog up this thread since it's not my truck. It's a very sharp truck. I wish they were still using Michelins on the TRD trucks though. That's the only thing I didn't care for on it.

 

From what I read the bed is the same size so my 2020 bed cover should fit I hope. Nice pics

 

That's crazy. FYI - Seeger Toyota in St. Robert, MO is pretty good; we've bought 3 vehicles from them.

Has anyone seen the Tundra in wind chill pearl? I have not seen any pictures on it at all. The color is not on any of the YouTube reviews or Forums?

the white color looks pretty good, but there looks miss matched colors with the flares and grill surround, kinda outta place.

 

Beautiful Truck and Congrats. I'm working with my dealership to purchase a new truck. I also want a Platinum but had questions on installing a lift? Some of the options are the auto leveling and ride adjustment. Will a lift interfere with the operation of these systems?

 

Yes thus far, but it might be feasible from the aftermarket and some crafty work on your end

 

The large screen can come in the SR5 (option package) and up.

 

Very out of place, it would of looked decent if the flares and grille were color matched.
