Today marks my 1 year ownership of a wonderful 2014 TUNDRA!!

I purchased it with 90k and have put 42,000 trouble free miles on it so far. Almost all of those miles are with pulling a trailer. Overall I’d say I’m very happy with it, the leather seats are stiff but comfortable, the way it handles and pulls my trailers supersedes my Chevy and Ford. I like the simple interior not many things can go wrong with it. It does have the timing chain tensioner noise at cold start ups but goes away after it’s warm other than that it’s perfect.

    Current mods:
    -46 gallon tank
    - Firestone airbags
    - leer shell
    - headlights
    - grill

I'm planning on keeping this truck until the wheels fall off so let’s see how many miles it’ll go!

What did I do to my 2.5 Tundra today?

I called my dealer to give me an update on my 2014 truck.
They have had it since 11/16 the day after my cats were stolen in my employer's parking lot.

They have all the parts except the passenger-side cats.
Driver's side cats came in last week.

They said it will hopefully come in by the end of the year.
They did tell me when I dropped it off, it would be a minimum 6 to 8 weeks.
    They weren't kidding..

Driving a rental Tacoma from that dealership.
My insurance has a $1500 limit, per claim, for a rental.
My service advisor said he would try to get Toyota to cover anything over that.

So far my insurance claim, including rental, is $7500 with a $200 deductable.

The point being, if you've been on the fence about buying any kind of catalytic converter shields, do it.
Mine were stolen at noon on a Monday, in a busy parking lot..

Im buying seat jackers myself if I don't get them for a Christmas present!

Had to replace passenger side turn signal bulb this weekend. Thankfully it was super simple and took 20 seconds, vs the front end and grill removal for other bulbs!

Also had windshield replaced due to chips cracks. The stock one is completely clear, and that is what the company ordered. Two days before appointment, they said it would be several more weeks to get the clear. But, they had one with the tint at the top but it was $100 more expensive. Because they couldn't get the clear replacement on time as promised, they gave me the more expensive one with tint at the top for no extra$ SCORE. Don't really notice the tint at the top while driving, but it does look better from outside.
