    Too many, but not enough....
Do they have a install video or instructions already available? What was the lead time quoted? Really interested in this.

No install video yet. Im sure they will provide some measurements like they do on their tacoma phantom bumpers. I believe I was the first person to place an order, I was talking to mike as he was building the bumper as i had asked multiple times previously for them to make a high clearence rear for the tundra. They did a killer job on it and are making some slight changes on the future builds. The changers are going to be
*The sides will extend 1.5" further forward to just before the wheel well.
*The dimple panels on the side will have the holes more centered.

I was told they will begin making them in january.

Speaking of bumpers. I’ll be looking to sell my front and rear bumpers once my new Steelcraft bumpers come in.
Coming off a 2020 Tundra SR5 Access Cab, 4x4. They aren’t black except the factory black plastic middles and tops and the rear has a dent where I backed slowly into a parking slot pole at the VA.

Sorry a522467 I know this is no help to you. I’m in New Mexico.

I am looking at this bumper. If a guy had a winch in this one, is there room to put you hand in there and access the winch free spool lever??

I'm considering this bumper also sense the winch bumper brush guard I bought is not compatible with the grill sensor.

I haven't found the answer to your question but the holes in the top of the bumper on a tundra give the impression that this is to access the clutch lever.

Hopefully someone will let both of us know.

I wonder if you can fit a Badland Apex 1200 lb. winch in there?

Yeah, I'm strongly considering one of these winches no matter which bumper I get. If they are good enough for Matt's Off Road Recovery in a commercial application, I'm sure it will suffice for me and the very few times I will probably need it. I want a C4 Overland bumper as my first choice but haven't seen any answers on if the Badland Apex will fit it without relocating the control box. I've seen many ask that question around here, but so far no definitive answer that I've found. It's pretty close to the same size as the Warn winch but pretty close is a subjective term when dealing with something in the price range of this bumper. The long lead time with C4 has me looking at other options in the mean time before pulling the trigger and committing to the 3 or 4 month wait.

Hey guys. Overall I'm really happy with the looks of this bumper! Ive got lights on order now, and should be installing this week. I'm not overly confident that it could handle the pulling power of a 12K winch. I asked Armordillo about winch capacity and the customer service dude didn't know either. he only said that he could confirm a 10K Warn winch would fit.
Those cutout holes are for accessing the freespool lever as was talked about above. Although it will be a tight squeeze to get your hand in there.
Heres another picture now that I've color matched the grill surround. Needing those lights!!

Thanks. Yes I'm trying to find a low profile bumper like that which will accommodate a 12k winch WITHOUT having to install the control box remotely. Just from looking at pictures I don't think this Armordillo RP will allow that but I'd love to hear from someone who actually did it.

If you can find the overall height of the winch you'd like to run including the control box, I'll jam a tape measure down one of those top holes and tell you if It'll fit.

ARB Summit bumper on 2021 SR5. Hit a full size buck deer at 70 mph with an ARB on my Land Cruiser and I was convinced.

Does your radar for cruise control work with that bumper?

Yes. The adaptive cruise control works fine with the ARB.

It also has a crumple zone built in and works with the air bags. Australia has pretty strict standards for aftermarket add ons.

It IS a heavy bumper, though, especially with the Warn EVO 12k winch.

I was on Hwy17 between Georgetown and Myrtle last week and a sweet looking black tundra pulled up next to me. He had a nice looking rear bumper which might have been Ubox. It made his truck pop

Sorry for the late response I somehow missed the tag on that one! Agreed there is limited access to the winch itself it's really tight in there and I don't think the badlands would fit, I looked into that winch first actually. The top access holes are also pretty tight I can barely get a few fingers in there..

I did put in a Smittybilt 9.5k XRC Gen 3 and relocated the winch controller to be tucked up behind/within the bumper cavity near the passenger fog lights which allows me to easily plug in my wired winch controller and finesse it up and through the passenger window and use it while in the driver's seat.

Side note I can't believe this Armordillo company has rebranded it and marked up the price so much! I got mine for $400 off ebay and it was a no name brand - i went back in my posts, they (gt racers) are still selling on ebay for that price!

    Here you guys go- https://www.ebay.com/itm/312745134973
