So looking to buy Magnuson SC, but I want to know what to expect $$ wise. So after SC installed (paying a Toyota tech on the side),then need to pay for? tune? What else would I NEED? Obviously would like to upgrade exhaust, but will do that down the road.

Whatever this forum told me to do
Remember every time you add a variable it is best to adjust the tune

a basic Magnuson would cost 10k. All in

it comes with base tune so no dyno time is required

    salty beat me to it

Looks like its all precanned under features and specs:
    • 543hp & 535lbs-ft at the crank in standard form on an unmodified truck
    • Positive displacement roots blower provides instant Response with zero Lag
    • Robust cooling for consistent all-day-long performance
    • Calibration included for standard kit on stock vehicle
    • Installs can usually be completed within one day
    • CARB Certification EO# D-488-50
If you get anything else aside from a catback you'll probably have to get retuned.

If you buy the full Magnuson kit it should come with everything you need including the (basic) tune. If you want to dyno it or get fancier with the tune, that is more time/money/effort, but out of the box the Magnuson should be ready to rock in your truck.
