USPS lost my order....Fumoto from Amazon

    Do not order a Fumoto drain valve from Industrial Tech Supply on Amazon. I ordered mine on 18 Nov and it still hasn't arrived. The only tracking info is that the carrier USPS picked it up on the 19th. Amazon's delivery updates kept pushing it out, now stating that the package may be lost. I can't ask for a refund until they contact the seller. I don't think it's a carrier issue because everything else is showing up in 2-3 days.

    I’ve always ordered direct from Fumoto. Never saw much for cost savings elsewhere and their website keeps it simple.

    You should have been able to receive a refund for the package since it's definitely past your promise delivery date. Try to resolve it with Customer Service on Amazon since I'm sure Customer Service should be able to bypass Third Party Sellers, cancel your order, and provide a refund.

    This is exactly how it was handled when a small item I ordered on Amazon (from a 3rd party seller) became lost in the system.
    My money was refunded in a jiffy ~ no questions asked and I ordered a different item from a different seller which came in ahead of schedule.

    I ordered mine from Amazon. Got it promptly like usual. Just for reference, I'm a professional seller on Amazon. Shipping issues happen all the time, and it always sucks when it happens to us. Just contact Amazon, not the seller and ask for a replacement. Try to order everything as FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) and returns/refunds/replacements will always be easy!

    Sold by Third Party, but just make sure it’s shipped through Amazon :thumbsup:

    Anything not received within 3 days will result in a refund of some sort. We call it an Ageing package which can either be Mis-sorted or Lost somewhere along the way while in transit.

    Some good info here that addresses shipping issues. If the Post Office is involved you can almost guarantee something will be off.

    Sucks you are having this issue. I've been lucky enough not to have any problems with the couple of orders I did have with them. I would also look into filing a "where's my package" inquiry with the post office. I did that once on a package that was 2 weeks late, it showed up 2 days later damaged and missing my product with a "we're sorry" note from the post office.

    I've had great success with deliveries from USPS. I merely add 10-14 days to the date they tell me and it works out fine!:thumbsup::cool:

    10-14 days? That’s impressive. My daughter birthday present was “delivered” early October. We actually finally received the package 30 days later in Nov. I avoid shipping with USPS.

    So they responded stating that several items shipped that day were reported missing. They are sending a replacement, however, now it looks like 2 of them are on their way?

    Well as long as you're refunded. I'm not sure about USPS system, but if there is a duplicate, they'll usually deliver one and not the other. But if you get 2, could always sell one to us, lol!

    Your thread title is misleading, the issue isn't Amazon or the seller. It's the Post Office.

    Amazon contacted the seller and the seller replied. Now I'm thinking 2 of them went out on the same day, or USPS mysteriously found the original on the same day.

    Start a return on one of them and send it back.
    I ordered something and Amazon sent it via CEVA. They were supposed to call me to set up a delivery. No call, but they noted that they contacted me and set up delivery for Dec 23 at 8pm. A week beyond the delivered by date when I ordered and on a date & time when I can't have anyone there to accept it. Guess it will be going back.

    As long as you only were charged for one order, then the second would be considered a replacement or a duplicate. Either way, keep it, sell it, if you weren’t charged twice for the valve.

    Neither Amazon nor 3rd party would request it be sent back unless specified through an email or message request on your account.

    I was only charged for the one. They just replied stating that they sent a replacement out because others were missing their items from the same order date as well. What I find weird is that once a new tracking number was created, they both were received by the carrier on the same day, just 2 hours apart as I posted in #18. The plus side, the Tundra and 4R use the same valve.
