Anti-theft device of some sort. Actually does illuminate but that's about it. Will follow wiring and most likely disconnect while we are installing fog lights.

KARR anti-theft to be specific. Very commonly installed for a hefty surcharge by southwest US dealers (not exclusively), and tend to wreak havoc on truck functions after a decade or two. Best option is to have removed. There are instructions on the forum if you search for KARR, if I recall...

I have one installed about the same place, with a blue light that flashes occasionally. It was there when I bought it used. The brochure for it was in the glove compartment. Mine turns out to be by a company called "Guidepoint" They have all sorts of upgraded services, like knowing where the truck is all the time, keeping an eye on the kids, etc. But I have the free option. No following the truck around and all that. But if it's stolen and I call them, they will find it, track it, and let the police know where it is. Also has a panic button to alert them to anything...like an accident. Again will report to the authorities with the location.

I met a woman who was a client for an attorney I worked for in the past who thought putting the plastic safety plugs in her outlets would keep the electricity from leaking out and running up her bill. I wouldn’t be surprised is she were a flat earther.

The earth IS flat. And it's common knowledge that leaky electrical outlets cause those little shocks you get when you touch the door knob. It can also make your hair stand on end.
    Just kidding!

the earth is both round and flat. i have proof of this.. this new movement is gaining some steam. we dont argue we just agree with you and prove you right.. to get in with the movement internet search the round flatters not to be confused with the flat rounders sect that is heresy.

Can't be that big otherwise the flat earthers would fall over the edge. :D
