if they used your lawnmower to mow your yard?

i understand how ‘strangers’ work, but if my lawnmower was on fire or being stolen, i’d like someone to intervene. As long as its not damaged. I for an i, TOOTH for a tooth.

I mean, ive taken neighbors dogs on short walks when they get out of their fences, which is more often than you might think. Even had to stuff some rocks in a fence hole where it was obvious the dog was getting out.

I hear you. Were I in the situation I would thank them for the concern, but make it known they could not relocate my dog without telling me. If for no other reason than to keep me from having a panic attack. I would have been freaking out, because my dog is deaf. I'd be worried she had run off, and trying to get a dog to come back that can't hear you... yeah. I'd be freaked.

I work in a room that my wife and I converted into an office (covid). It makes me angry when I go to walk the dog on break and come back to find out she cranked a portable heater while I was gone. Its like being trapped in a room with a damn blow dryer. Its already 68 in here, no need for the dehydrator.

We like to keep our house between 66 and 68. We turned the thermostat up to 72 when our daughter was born and my wife and I almost died of heat stroke.

A few days ago I was outside doing yard work well into the night. I came back in to shower and sleep and it was uncomfortably hot and dry in my house. I looked at the thermostat and my wife had set it to 74 and was hiding under a pile of blankets.

What is cold or hot is really different person to person. Its also different depending on the season. In the Summer my house being 74 feels great, and a crisp morning hitting low 60s feels cold outside. This time of year low 60s feels great and 74 inside feels like torture to me.

A while ago we switched to grass fed and/or pastured meats, eggs, and grass fed raw milk. Unfortunately even the "grass fed" and similar items in the regular grocery stores really aren't all that great. To actually get good clean health food you basically need to hunt it yourself, grow it yourself, or order from smaller places that grow it/raise it and let you come to the farm and look over their operation yourself.
I get most of our meat shipped from White Oak Pastures in Georgia, PloyFace Farms is probably the most well know place but they're further away in Virginia.

What exactly is so great about grass fed? Every steer that my grandfather raised for beef was grain fed.

The best in my opinion is grass fed, grain finished.

Grain finished usually produce a tastier(fatter) and nutrient balanced beef vs grass fed will be more lean

Grass fed usually just means they are free range pasture cattle. Allowing them to eat when the want and roam free.

A few years ago some health problems cropped up in my family and I ended up looking into much of the well established recommendations on food/drugs/exerciser/etc and came to the conclusion that most of the modern consensus on all things health related is complete horse exhaust. Our fathers and grand fathers may have raised grain fed beef (or their generations my didn't actually raise cattle), but our great grand fathers and as far back as you can go did not feed grain to cattle in any appreciable quantity. Only when grain became cheap through chemical fertilizers and mechanized planting/harvesting/processing was it cost effective to convert grains into steak.
Grass fed beef has a different fat profile than grain fed beef, grass fed has much more omega-3 fat than grain fed. Good fat is good for you and bad fat is not so good for you. Fat from grain fed beef is not so great while the fat from grass fed beef is pretty good. Cooking and salt content the same most grain fed beef tastes very similar, flavor profile variations are mostly dependent on fat content and toughness. Grass types vary significantly between farms grass fed beef has many variations of the actual beef flavor depending on diet.
Eat the beef you like, I prefer the "beefier" taste of grass fed and I think it's a healthier meat.

that's odd, what version of windows are you using? I have windows 10 on my PC, windows 10 on my work laptop and after updates, it doesn't revert back to Edge. I have FireFox as my main browser. This sound like some GPO that the admin set. Also when you are talking to HelpDesk, they are the lowest of the low when it comes to skill base. They either get their documents from someone more senior or that information is in their knowledge base somewhere, outside of that, they will struggle. However, there are some that are in helpdesk that shouldn't be there because they are above the rest.

Bill Gates hasn't been involved in Microsoft for nearly 2 decades now.

    Bad delivery people

This lady delivering a package to my house today ignored the sign asking people not to ring the doorbell in case our kid is sleeping (or maybe she just can't read) and rang it 4 times in about 15 seconds.

I ended up moving the sign so it covers the bell but I shouldn't have to do that. Why can't people just be considerate and respectful?

I never order anything that needs a sig..... I'd ship it to my work and have receiving sigh for it, then go pick it up and come back home?

If already at my house, I guess sign for it.

I ended up disconnecting the door bell for exactly this problem, in my area it was UPS in particular that insisted on mashing the button every single time. No signature just leave a package and ring the door bell even though the sign was at eye level in the middle of the door.

People with halogen headlights that install led bulbs in them. Hillbilly eye ruining dbags. Save up for led headlights damn!

And yes I have done that in my younger, dumber, cheapskate days before I saw the light.

Sometimes we say things when angry.
At these times we are hesitant to consider what we’re saying and the things we can’t take back.
I would ask you to seek guidance from a professional.
If you and your child are not seeing eye to eye, it is up to us to be the rational party.
Please consider that he is a 13 year-old and consider the things we did ourselves as 13 year-olds.
Things and situations in life can become overwhelming and not allow us to think clearly.
Reaching out to others for assistance is not a sign of weakness or bad parenting.
    Quite the opposite.
However, taking the current road can only lead to more issues.

Hope it’s works out well for the both of you.
