I actually drives real smooth, it's definitely quicker than my last one especially when the turbo kicks in.

My only complaints right now is not sitting up high enough, thinking about some type of lift soon. Also REAL quiet, you can barely hear the engine and the exhaust is almost non-existent but I guess it's expected with the V6. The wife used to hear me pulling up in my 16 from a block or two away and I pulled up last night and she didn't even notice.

TFL said seats are short and not too comfortable. I'm tall and liked the length of the older seats, are these shorter? Seat back def looks shorter than previous gen.

This I agree with, I'm only 5'6 not a big guy at all but the Cab seems smaller than my last one. It feels a little bit tighter in there that's for sure.

    Congrats!

Do the mirrors manually extend at all? How do you think they'd be for towing a travel trailer?

    Thanks for posting!

No not at all, I think you have to get that specific package that has the tow mirrors. This is only the 3rd truck they've gotten and honestly all pre-sells. They are not even taking special orders at the dealership I went to

Would really appreciate if you can tell me about the frame that makes up the storage area under the back seats. If you wanted a flat surface with seats up. Does it look like it can be unscrewed and pulled out fairly easy? Can you pls post a picture of the back with the seats up from the door opening. No pictures on the internet that I have seen. Thank you very much.

its a bummer to hear it feels tighter in there, thats what I was afraid of given the smaller interior specs everywhere.

Im guessing its even harder to get in and out with the A-pillar rake situation. I feel like I have to fold in half as it is to get in and out, I was hoping the next gen would be better, not worse.

    Gotcha!
Don't want to ruffle any feathers.

Beautiful truck OP! I am waiting on a black TRD Sport 4x4 or till March/April for a Black Pro.
I think the Black ones blend in better with the big grille.

I like them and I'm trying to source a 22 Platinum to sit and test in my garage. Actually have someone on FB group that might come over and put it in my garage (giggity) to see if it fits.

thats going to be a huge thing for me too, fitting in the garage, that has to work before I get into interior size and TTV6 etc.

I thought about waiting for the Pro but they were telling me MSRP was at least 70k before any mark ups. The black does blend in better with the larger grill. I still need to figure out what to do with the chrome.
