I really like that you went back to stock wheels, the black wheels just look wrong! It looks a hundred times better w/the hyper silvers, good choice. Love the truck.

Did you stick with stock springs, UCAs etc.? Just new 6112s alone?

Just the 6112s on right now. UCAs are next purchase deciding between camburg, total chaos, and solo

Pretty sure the black wheels are new. The 6100’s come with new springs. They have 2.5” bodies and can’t fit the factory springs.

Ah - I got confused, the picture order on the original post (pre-edit) showed the "after" pic 1st.

No insult intended, OP. I thought you might've had the TRD wheels on the truck earlier, so I found it really original and refreshing to see someone going back to the best OEM wheels for our generation. I don't personally love TRD wheels or all-black wheels, thus the excitement about 'returning' to an OEM+ look.

My end goal is to have my truck look more like the 'before' pic in this case. Pretty similar to what @abcinv has going on with his truck.

Oh - and edit to say thanks, Diablo. I saw that about the 6xxx shocks a few weeks back when reading more about why the cost diff'ce between they and the 5xxx series. Actually, this was the article I'd read.

I like the black wheels, not because I did that or anything :) My split spoke were in need of rehab, and I'm glad they were because I'm really happy with the result.

Those black wheels and meaty tires look really nice with the silver Tundra! If you have a chance, post a daytime pic too.

I’m planning on running the same wheels and tires, that is if my Toyo’s ever wear out.

That will be cool, although the stockers look really good with the spacers there

I think it'd look killer with the smoked version of the OEM 5-spoke splits. There's a slightly darker version that'd tie it together nicely. Then smoke or vinyl wrap the chrome and you're in business.

I think OP's truck may be the lighter silver? Can't tell, night time pic. If it's the same color as y'alls, more of a charcoal, I agree, the hyper silver OEM 5-spoke splits might look a little funny.

It's definitely the lighter silver. The split wheels are prob the best OEM out there, the offset isn't ideal though IMO for bigger tires. Do that wheel in smoked and 0MM at 8-8.5 I'm in.

OP it looks like you are somewhere in So Cal? Are you looking to get rid of the stock wheels? If so, I am interested as I am looking to go back to stock 5-spokes from methods.

I just have them sitting in my garage at the moment still mounted on the old tires. Not really sure what I want to do with them yet but would be willing to work up a deal
