Covering the chopped area...

So I recently had the BMC done to eliminate the rubbing from the new 35's. What are folks using to cover the area after the cut? Is there fender liner material or custom linings that will hide this mod?

Some Rokbloks might do the trick.

 

Relentless Fabrication makes BMC plates that you can weld on.

 

oh, you needed to weld back on plates, thought u did that and wanted to hide it further from state inspections or something.....

 

I ordered these plates and they are nowhere close to what is needed. It is body vs. frame that needs covering.

BMC is only the front part of where it your body mounts are… unless if you did a relocation? Photos?

 

Not really, I have body (from what I see) that was cut that really need covering with a fender liner material. These thick ass plates I got from Relentless are not even close to being big enough to cover the opening, nor are they the right conture.

Ah I got you. Yeah, with the plates, you’d want to have it, outline, then cut. If you cut without outlining the plates you bought, then it won’t fit unless if you cut pieces of sheet metal and weld it on.

 

I need a way to cover this on each side.

Low profile mud flaps maybe.

 

Just get a new fender liner.
