The RCI uses the same bolt holes as the TRD there, so it'll work.

I just placed the order for mine (I will be using the RCI engine skid). By don't add shipping I assume you meant use the 'pickup' option? My plate order didn't ship yet so that's what I did (original order R391431818).

Hi Tyler - going to order one just in case I ever have to remove and reinstall. Can you clarify if the nut plate ships with new bolts or do I reuse the bolts from the TRD plate?

@Classy63 Tyler if I order the nut plate on your website can you ship it with my order # R161979816?. I know you said it would be shipping this week . I have the RCI engine skid and it sounds like this will make the skids easier to install and remove.
    Thanks

These do come with bolts. If you have an order that has not shipped, don’t add shipping. It is like a $1 more to throw in, but to ship it by itself it is more, I know… make sense of that…

For order R289387525 were there spacers? I just saw the Z brackets inside with the bolts. 4wd 2021 crewmax.

Whoops, read back in the thread, no more spacers needed apparently.

Received my skid plate Saturday night. I now have a complete set: front skid + front & rear cat plates. Realized I need to change gear box fluids before installing, so I ordered materials for the fluid change last night. There's some discussion about what fluids to use, so here's a link to my decision. Just posting here to remind folks of this step, and have the stuff on hand b4 your plates arrive...

I am sorry, the holidays and metal shortages caused delays. I am supposed to start picking up this batch this week

Hello I looked through lots of pages but can’t find a answer. I have Cali Raised bolt on sliders. Do the plates fit with these without modifications? Do they share any mounting points? Thanks

Tyler, I haven't followed this thread in a while, but mine is 2wd and I have the DE plate and your rear plate along with the RCI skid. I will look at mine and see if I can see the front of the forward cats and take some pics for reference. Has there been any updates on more protection for the rear cats on the 2wd's? Thanks.

It's not that hard to install the plates with the RCI skid. Of course I was an aircraft mechanic for 24 years AD so I was used to small spaces. I even drilled and added additional bolts to my install.

They do fit, but you will need to drill a hole where the clamp bolt goes through. Also, I can offer Z brackets that will fit better with the sliders

Ok thanks I’m going to order soon. I had cats stolen Thanksgiving night at a casino parking structure in Las Vegas while on Vacation. Towed to dealership on Friday, they said repair will be done Tuesday but was not done until Thursday evening. Missed whole week of work. Also, I am stuck with aftermarket cats. Passenger side cats not available at all and long wait for driver side. I recommend everyone get some type of protection for their cats

I’m not sure if this has been asked and answered already. Anyone running the Valhalla with the RSI skids? Any modifications that need to be made?

    thank you in advance

@Classy63 I was curious why your shipping cost is so high? does fedex not give you a volume discount?

I have never personally installed my plates with RCI skids, but plenty here have, I have not heard of any modifications needed

The shipping costs is something I am looking to amend in the future after the holidays (they hike up the prices for the holidays…). Being flat rate, I need to make sure that a shipment to Washington state will cover or mostly cover the cost of shipping and packaging. As of now, 3/16 steel orders I usually break even or lose alittle shipping to far off areas in the northeast and northwest. 1/8 steel obviously will be cheaper as it is much lighter, but I don’t have an option to have shipping different for 1/8 steel. As for aluminum, I will likely keep the front cat plate the same, but lower the rear cat plate price a good chunk for shipping.

When my dad has his business and shipped a lot of stuff most places required a consistent monthly minimum volume.

EDIT: I'm not saying it's impossible to get a discount, but this is what I know. Tyler could certainly ask for one!

I sent out a good chunk of plates today. Including my first PRO nut plate. I really want feed back on this, I hate sending something out that hasn’t been tested, but I am pretty confident it will work fine

I’m good with waiting, no need for dealing with extra shipping charges etc, but thank you, look forward to getting that installed for sure.
