I like to eat my tomatoes like an apple, when they’re not used on a grilled cheese, of course.

I was mostly just trolling the normies on here with the apple comment, but I do love tomatoes and will give the mayo thing a shot!

You can sauté the leaves like collard greens. But peel the tough outer skin off the “bulb” and then cut it in slices. Or julienne it and toss into a salad. It’s kind of like a cross between raw potato and a radish, but really mild.
My wife will also shred them and add to her homemade sauerkraut or kimchi

 

That’s still better than being as dumb as a box of hair…

We eat them raw on their own all the time. (Actually, my parents grow them.) But Matt implied that there were other ways to eat them and I couldn't wrap my head around it.

especially since a decent amount of time has passed, once someone saw it, it would bring back memories of a… simpler, crazier time.

 

I've haven't tried the leaves yet. Roasted kohlrabi is very good. Remove outer skin and slice it up. Drizzle with olive oil and some parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Roast at 375 until golden brown. Not bad.

 

Kids are different... My middle grandson loves veggies - broccoli in particular, but brussels sprouts and cauliflour too. His sister? Chicken nuggets or gtfo. The littlest might like veggies, or chicken nuggets, or Lucky Charms, but I don't think any of it hits his tongue on its way down; and that plate is looking pretty tasty too, now that it's all clean.

Those states legalizing it are ignoring all the millions of people who died in the mid-20th century of Salty Surfer and Ding Dong overdose. What's next? Making people responsible for themselves again? We've all seen how that turned out. Madness.
