I’m just hoping to have free time to run brake lines in a 97 Camry…

Yeah I couldn't justify the cost of anything up front. I do have an LSD in the rear currently, but I doubt it'll fit in the front. I'm really not sure. I don't want to break CV's all the time lol
But the plan for now is if the LSD is still in decent shape, to put it in my T100's rear

That's funny, I got the same stuff! I couldn't do the tail lights or rear turns, because they sent me 3157s instead of what you got. My 2004 DC may have been an oddball that leaned more toward the 05-06 config. They are sending the right stuff with a return box for the wrong stuff. Only thing I didn't realize is that there are two front turn bulbs on each side. Are people putting four LEDs up front?

yea. 4 up front. you dont really want to run incandescent with the fancy relay.. it'll do it. but its meant for LEDs.

that relay is super fun when you have a trailer with a shitload of lights on it.. LOL

That will be a nice setup! I hope they arrive soon.

I'm wondering what to do with my OEM LSD also once I have the Nitro Helix put in.

I'm also hoping to have 35s and 17s by Jambo, maybe a winch and bigger brakes too.

Maybe someone can give us some input on whether the stock rear LSD can be used in the front differential

No, it can't - it's a different size. Rear is 8.4", front is 7.5" I think. I just meant, should I keep it, rebuild it, or sell it. Your build sounds cool! I will have to look up that TX Jamboree.

Thanks. They haven't announced the dates yet for 2022. But it is usually at the end of April. It'll be at Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area in Gilmer, TX. They require a TX Off Highway Vehicle sticker that you can buy at the Texas Parks and Wildlife website for $16 or the park sells em I think too. It's the biggest Toyota gathering in the state. Maybe the country. Not sure. But people come from all over the country and state for it. Last year was my first time and I was 1 of I think 3 or 4 first gen Tundras there. They have camping spots because it's like 4 days long (usually Thursday-Sunday). Tons of trails, several events, competitions, vendors, food, prizes, a raffle, etc .. check it out! I know at least some of the profit goes to a cancer charity and parks n wildlife iirc. If you do come, my group stays at the High Rollers Camp. The name is deceiving because it's primitive camping. But they have camps for RVs too. And they have showers at the main pavilion bathroom.

I figure one of us might need to send an LSD to Noah for the crackie but, shoot, maybe that’s one part he has which is in good condition.

One idea I ponder for my diffs and the 6 steel 6 lug spares is building a custom trailer for towing one truck with the other. I believe two axles are ideal for that but I have zero background or skill in this area. Which is precisely why I find it rather interesting. Not sure if an LSD can be converted to open. I figure at some point I might upgrade the axles on the Tundra if there is a heavier duty option. But it’s probably the stupidest of stupid ideas.

Brother I wish I could but I'm working 6 days a week until the end of the season (April).
IMO, Texas and Florida are the best places to buy a used truck, no rust issues and prices seem to be reasonable for the most part.
As to the gators, I've been here nearly 17 years and have only seen gators twice, 1st time was a trip to the everglades and the 2nd was after a hurricane and for some reason this huge 15ft monster decided to walk the streets of Miami. The water in front of my house is brackish which is a mix of fresh and salt water. Gators really don't care for salt water, we often see dolphin, manatees and turtles swimming bye.

I've been to Florida one time (October 2017)
Everything was closed. Not even tourist traps. I managed to visit during the brief period between summer and fall. Everything was closed for maintenance.
I've still never seen a gator or armadillo alive and in the wild. **I've been to 43 states by car and roadkill doesn't count.

I need new front sway links.
With my ~2" lift, will stock be ok? Or do I need to look into something custom?

@FrenchToasty I've got a leak here where I unscrewed it. It happens after we pull the stopper to drain water after doing dishes. Pipe Thread sealant my best bet? I have some at the house.

Those are supposed to be a compression type joint via the screwing action. May pull the 90 out the bottom of the urinal there, and lather some pipe dope on the seal seal surface.

Like Noah said, there should be a V shaped compression seal in between the 90 and the basket strainer. If you loosen the 90 at the T there will be one there to compare to, homies or any local home
Improvement store should have the seal ring. 1 1/2 is what I see on the T
