My grandparents used to be snow birds. The one year we went down to visit them in Phoenix for Christmas, it was warmer here than there on Christmas Day.

 

You're not wrong. I haven't had the pleasure of getting to the south. My travels have mainly been the PNW and northern states. Oh, and Hawaii.

 

I didn't hate driving in the Chicago area, though I did my best not to go into the city itself at rush hour. I was working in Channahon and staying in Joliet then would go into the city itself later in the evening for dinner. The freeway system South West of the city seemed to work really well and everyone knew how to merge properly.

 

That's how you know where to go to eat and drink.

When my brother and I are in an unfamiliar city, we just walk around until we smell a restaurant that we want to go into. The sandwich radar hasn't failed us yet...

 

I got a sock monkey in Rockford while I went to a Taylor(McDowell grills$) training seminar, there was a tilted kilt next to the hotel, it was great

Is that the same concept for finding a strip club?

What did you do now that you’re being surveilled?

 

Pretty much every vacation we take I break out my tetris skills loading the van. Especially the more kids we have, the more stuff we have, but less room.

 

Acted normal, I wasn’t sure how long he had been watching me clean my janky shower filters for my pond, asshole is still there…..

 

I’m excited for not having to lug the entire family’s shit for this one.

I got tired of doing this with Mrs. Punishment's Corolla every time we went camping so I bought the truck and put a canopy on it. Then we had a kid and I'm back to Tetris every weekend in the summer.

 

I'll let you know after we've had a chance to test it out.

 

Strawberry and Vanilla usually put on a decent show. I like Cinnamon though, she's got the moves.

Yeah, me and one of the boys and three dogs were watching it, I was about to go put it out of his misery and Cooper’s hawk swooped in. Got video of it flying away as well.

 

My dad worked rotating shifts for 33 years. 18 of that was 6 on, 2 off then rotate to the next shift (8 hour shifts). I don’t think he ever really knew what day or time it was.

 

That would be brutal. I did shift work like that before, and I hated it. This is much more manageable.

 

And glitter. You can smell the glitter
