Yeah, have to go Platinum for the power extend mirrors. The other ones should be able to extend manually.

Yes, the Japanese vehicles have always had higher interest rates to compensate themselves for selling right along the same MSRP levels as the domestics. Honda dealers used to say "you can't drive a payment" meaning enjoy sitting at the garage getting your Dodge Neon fixed. Usually the finance rates come down after the first year hysteria wears off. Last year the ancient Tundra was running around 3.49% financing I believe. You will see 1.9 at Toyota on 24 month terms on Corollas but not the better vehicles.

Did anyone see power running boards listed anywhere? I wouldn't necessarily want them, just curious.

I also didn’t see it mentioned anywhere, probably it’s not available in Canada.

A few days ago while watching probably my tenth or 50th lol video on 2022s I was happy to see that Toyota had brought back the Drivers side A Pillar Grip. Now looking at Build a Price Canada I see it's NOT on the Canadian models ! WTF ! I know that it's something that many people complained to Toyota about when they removed it.
Unless I missed it but I looked at the Sr5, offroad and Platinum models.

Are you looking at spec sheets or pictures? I'm hard-pressed to believe they would have a different A pillar for Canadian trucks.

I looked at the specs. Now I just looked at the US and they're listed on all models, even the SR

Maybe something has to give because if you look at the pricing between Canada and the US its not like buying something else. For instance the Limited is $54k in the US and $64 in Canada. Normally you could add the exchange rate to the US to get the Canadian price but if you do that the Canadian would be almost $70k.

I hope it just ends up being an error considering how many times I've heard and seen people complain that it was removed.

It's same on Camry too, we have Camrys as company cars, was looking to trade one of them for a Hybrid, the same lease terms a Camry SE Hybrid costs more than a Lexus IS300, like wtf Toyota.

Ya, I just looked at Toyota's pics and vids on the Canadian site and it's there. I wonder if those pics are from the US site because that's all they had at the time.

Wasn't there supposed to be a lift kit available too ? I didn't see it on either site.

2.5 inch lift, TRD front and rear sway bars, 33 inch Open Country AT3 305/55R20 and dual TRD exhaust.
That comes in the spring I believe. They are timing that to go along with the TRD Pro.

It may have been. What I meant was that only the US trucks were available and they were preproduction models.
The first Tundra was delivered last night in Texas to TFL trucks. There's a video of it.

That financing rate is bugging me. LOL. We paid 5.99% for a used 4 year old Corolla with nothing down. If a guy is buying a brand new truck and putting $15 - $20K down, there's no reason he shouldn't be able to get below 2%.

Anyone have a good bank that will offer decent auto financing? Last time I asked, Scotiabank said to just go through the dealer.

Credit unions will likely be your best bet.

I kind of figured that. I don't have any accounts with a credit union though so no history with one. I wonder if they'll give loans to non-clients.

Scotiabank are the ones I got my loan for my last car through (but it was via the stealership).

In 2010 when I wanted to buy a 4Runner I went to Td Bank where I banked normally and they would only give me $2500.00. I had a really good credit rating at the time so was ticked off. I ended up going to Cambrian credit union and opened an account where they gave me a LOC for $50k. I only needed 30k as I was buying used. The big banks can be harder to deal with.

I talked to my Salesman at Toyota and he said that they had noticed the grab missing too so they emailed Toyota and are waiting to hear back.
He's 99% sure that it's available on the Offroad models and up if not all.

I've looked at that but I don't have quite enough equity, mainly because we want to use what we have to build a deck next year.

I have a couple lines of credit, but the interest rate works out to about 6% or so.

It doesn't hurt to see if you can renegotiate an interest rate. I have prime plus .5% but originally had prime plus 1 %. One day I told them I was going to look at RBC to get prime plus .5%. It's not a huge amount but it makes a difference. Anyways I didn't have to move because Cambrian gave it to me. I didn't even know if RBC would have given me that rate lol

Of course rates also depend on your credit rating and how much you already owe.
You could also contact an Auto Broker. They'll find you the lowest rate.

Just an fyi - Grab handles can be got from Sparks Toyota in the US. I got one for my 2018. They send you a new pillar cover, the handle and bolts.

As long as the anchor points are there, the grab can be easily added.
