Skynyrd does suck. CCR is a better Southern rock band and they're from California...

This is how I feel about the generic female pop artists my wife likes.

Not a fan of Christmas music, at all. Wife and 4 year old son love it.

This is the only Christmas song that applies to an adult male because it’s what we want:

I always enjoyed Xmas music growing up but was never chomping at the bit to hear it, but… after picking up a mono tube amp and record player, I can say Nat King Cole’s voice is even warmer and a pretty amazing thing to hear. I look forward to it every year now

For the most part I'm not a fan. Instrumentals and GOOD creative reworks of traditionals are OK to a degree. I can't stand the slow, boring hymn type carols and most cheesy traditional originals. Stuff like Mannheim Steamroller, Trans Siberian, and a few of the works by Pentatonix and Home Free etc. are pretty good. Even then, I can't listen to it for a month straight. A few here and there, and a marathon of it on Christmas Eve/Day is enough.

I was in choir all through school. I am a soprano. Christmas music is the most mind-numbing, repetitive, boring music out there.

If its not some sort of metal, Trans Siberian Orchestra, or Pentatonix, I'm not listening to that shit.

Your choir director needs to pick better music. Doing a Christmas cantata the third week of Advent was always one of my favourite parts of the year.

I agree. I might have been blinded by pure unbridled rage with Carol of the Bells. 9 weeks of that damn song had us planning to unalive the teacher. But the Latin songs were cool. Always liked them.

I just heard their version of Deck the Halls and it was surprisingly good for a hair band.
