I COMPLETELY disagree with you on the Highlander. My wife and many other family members own them. They are an excellent vehicle and IMHO if you don’t go off-road and don’t need the ground clearance than the Highlander is hands down better than the 4Runner. It gets much better gas mileage, handles much better, much more comfortable, and tows the exact same amount. Personally I towed with my old 5th gen 4Runner and wasn’t impressed with my typical load of 1.5k. So towing is a moot point. The 4Runner is a great truck but it doesn’t even compare to the Highlander as a family vehicle. There is a very good reason why it exists…

I get that and I will always drive a truck but it’s still a very good vehicle…

My understanding is they got on top of it before the 2019's came out. I won't say I won't experience that problem, but I this is the 6th year they have been offering the turbo 1.5. Plus we live in South Texas, and the oil dilution issue was more prevalent in the cold weather states. Not concerned at all.

It's hard to beat the utility of the smaller crossovers. Easier to get in and out of, easier to load with everyday items, and damn near the same MPGs, steering habits, and parking ease of a car. I don't think I'll own a car again unless it's for fun.

190hp at 8500rpm* is the only issue i had with my honda. i found myself bagging the balls off my car just to pass. great reliability though so i'm sure it will treat you well :)

Yeah we have pretty much had Honda's exclusively for 30+ years. Drove many 10+ years / 140k+ miles.

At Gillman. This is the 6th new Honda from them in 11 years. I think this time there was some consideration for a loyal customer, but in the end, they only make the deal if it hits their mark.

First I have heard of the the C Cross. But not surprising since nothing but 2WD Tundras on the local Toyota lot.

Is that the same size as a CR-V? If so, seems it would vulture RAV4 sales. Or is it smaller more along the lines of an Honda HRV? If a competitor to the HRV, I have no doubt it will crush the HRV which I think is the worst vehicle in the Honda lineup today.

You should have bought a Ford if you value reliability.

The size of the Corolla Cross is between the CHR and RAV4. The CHR did not come in AWD and the Corolla Cross does. Toyota expects it to be a big seller.

You could also have waited for the GR Corolla...1.5 liter, 3 cylinder, AWD, 6 speed manual, rocking around 260 HP:thumbsup:
